Nice video and showcasing everything within it -- appreciated. Too bad this doesn't have the ability to turn off the "exhaust note" and just hear straight turbo sound. That would be a welcomed feature. I can't wait to give this a go!
I installed mine last week and immediately noticed much better torque and throttle response at lower RPMs and then again around 4500 you could really feel the turbos kicking in. However, I only have Map 0,1,2 and a custom. Did yours come out of box with the others?
Awesome video. 👌 question, curious with these small turbos on these trucks. How safe is it to use, and for how long on say....map4? Also, will they have one for the iforcemax and when? Thank you for the great video
@@eddiefromcali with the tuner on the 22 tundra and 22 tundra hybrid models have you tested any of the maps for towing while in tow haul mode or tow haul plus
@@BUFFALOBILLS1991 I've only towed about 4k lbs with the JB4 installed and had no problems in tow mode. I don't have a hybrid model, sorry. Driving around empty in tow and tow + is fun, truck absolutely pulls harder.
Hey man! Great video! Did you run the tests on sport mode? Also, did you have the TRD filter by any chance? I feel like my tundra is doing quicker than 8 stock
I put the JB4 on my tundra platinum 2022 and installed afe cold air intake and my tundra is a beast, on normal mode and sport and sport +. Sport throw me back in my seat. I’m waiting for my afe hot pipe to come arrive this month for installation and see how it does
Burger Motorsports advertises e85 tune with this JB4 tune. I got the JB4 for my 22 tundra. Looking at the maps I see a lot of “E30+” tunings. Obviously meaning higher ethanol content. Does E85 work for these tunes? Or do I need to customize my own tune for E85?
Will this work with the SR. If it does , does it bring HP up to the SR5 models or just a bump over factory HP. SR model only rated 350/405 Vs about 390/475
It doesn't, I would recommend seeing if your truck is part of the recall for the unnresponsilve throlle, if it's not I would go with a throttle controller on top of this JB4.
I was averaging around 13-14 MPG prior to the install, doing the same now. Pretty difficult to say since I haven't really driven the truck to most efficient MPG since i've had it.
