Great video. I learned few tricks on my VW MY21 R line. In Aus rolling up also works on lock key. Btw do you know how to rotate the 360 view on park mode. Mine it comes horizontally and feels wired 😵‍💫

Great Video! Some of the features I learned by mistake lol, especially all windows down, I kept pressing the wrong button. The back camera cleaning is indeed a great feature, din't know that.

I was wondering if there was a way to modify the backup camera so when you put the vehicle in reverse, the 360 view automatically comes on. I know you can press the button once in reverse but didn’t know if there was a setting to always have come on automatically

Hi great video thanks ! One question is there away to make the boot shut with the key ? I can make it open with the key by holding the boot button but I can’t work out how to close it with the key ?

Very Good Video!! I picked up my 2022 VW Tiguan, SEL R on New Years Eve. I love it!! My other was a 2018 VW Tiguan SEL and did not have all of the features this one has. I love having both power seats, and side mirrors that automatically fold in when I park and get out. My Mercedes always had that mirror feature which is very good for drive thru and pulling up to a mailbox. I love the German engineered vehicles they have a small turning radius and are so easy to park. My Salesman did not list all of these feature that this Video showed. Thank you for making the Video.

Hi, I have recently bought a 2022 Tiguan EHybrid R-Line in the UK. It says IQ lights on the side but the high beam just goes on and off, VW have confirmed that the car is fitted with matrix LEDS. Do these need activated?

Nice one mate. The full beam lighting is very useful to me as I hate having to turn it on and off when a car coming my way. I noticed the other night my blue full beam lights were on then on with an A but had no idea what it was. Glad you’ve explained that one! Thank you. Good vid. The lane assist thing I hate. I wish I could turn it off permanently but it’s set as default and have to turn it off every time I get in car. I’m edging toward the white lines on my right ( drive on left as in England) and the bloody steering wheel drags me back when I know I’m fine! Could cause me an accident. Is there anyway of keeping them off please? Think it’s auto lane assist. Cheers.

I think these sorts of get acquainted with the features videos are really helpful. The last time I bought a new car in 2015 it came with automatic door locks that sensed the presence of the key fob. I had never seen those before. When I tried to open the car it just opened. I assumed that when I walked away from the car taking the fob with me the car locked. That is not how it worked. You had to press the door handle for lock. So I had been leaving the car unlocked for two months. Then I saw a video....These little gotchas are mushrooming rapidly in cars today. I think one other category of things to watch out for you could mention in these videos would be features that require subscriptions or yearly fees.

I had a 2018 uk spec tiguan sel 4motiin diesel and on the infotainment on the car menu's it had a page for turbo boost, power output, and a g force meter. I've now got a 2021 R line 200ps and I can find them Dials. Is it something that needs activing? Thanks

So I’m looking to become part of the VW family. However, I’m going between the new Taos Highline and the 2022 Tiguan Comfortline R-Line (I’m in Canada hence the different trim names). I love both but having a hard time making a choice. Which would you recommend considering this is my first VW?

Great videos, I ordered a 22 tiguan highline r-line. Do you know of any engine modifications that can be done to increase performance with out voiding the warranty?.

closing the windows from key fob can be enabled in the settings menu -- you have to play around a little bit. (at least there is a setting to open all windows or only driver window)

Thank you for this!!. I am actually waiting for my Highline RLine Tiguan. Ordered it in the same color!! I'm excited!! I knew about the rear view camera squirt option, but also I learned that power tailgate can be customized to how much it opens so if you have a low garage, it won't ding it!! Open the tailgate and bring it to the height you want, hold and press the tailgate button, wait for the chime and voila! That might be in the owners manual but I'm excited!!

You can close the windows with the key fob in close proximity by holding the button on the door in the 22’ SEL r line. Not sure about other models.
