I wonder what the judging criteria was giving that match to Damien I don’t understand it seemed like Andrew hit a Lot if mat returns and takedowns

Yeah none of those scored as actual takedown the argument I think would be damian took more shots and had more sub attempts this the one pushing the pace or moving forward essentially. Also super near backtake during that scramble off mat but yeah coulda gave the nod to AT no doubt

@@lukepowers9472 correct, adcc rates initiation highly,, thats what the ref was saying at the table '' Damian was the one starting alot of the exchanges ''' and tackett movements came from slightly more counters ( if tackett had won nobody would say a thing it was so close)

Great mach and props to daimen but i felt that Andrew won and the ref was more lineant or accepting of off mat engageing when daimen was the one atacking. Not to take anything form daimen as i said congratulitions and i think he is a great competitor

@@Kkkaa.111 agreed, if you understand adcc rules (lots of fans don't and don't even care to check) its actually clear why he won too --- because they rate initiation of exchanges very highly in judging ( thats what they discussed at the table) .. andrews great movements many times came off counter attacks. where daiman took risks to win.. adcc rewards risk taking

How are they gonna let that dude go for a takedown clearly out of bounds, on the carpet, all around the tables, chairs, camera equipment, etc., and then tell the other guy he can't shake him off over his head?? Lol

Wondered the same thing. The ref seemed to show Anderson some favoritism. The couple times when Tackett was working offense out of bounds it was reset (even matside) put Tackett in a bind not allowing him to roll out.
