Subaru has the option for you to spend $108 on upgraded LED lights for your 2022 WRX and other Subaru models. You should think twice before spending that $108 on the Subaru option. I bought this LED kit from Amazon last year for my 2021 WRX. I found that the bulbs are the same so I bought another kit and found they all worked! Now my 2022 WRX is bright, actually BRIGHTER because I was able to change ALL the bulbs in the interior of my 2022 WRX instead of just the map lights and dome like the OEM option upgrade. With this kit my 2022 WRX has LED lights for the visors, map lights, dome light, trunk light, and license plate lights! If you want a great upgrade for very little money for your 2022 WRX or other Subaru this is a great option! Link is below:

Please revise this video for the 2022 WRX. 1) i see that the front left and rear left doors are open. This causes full power draw. Its is best to do this with doors open as per the video. If you get in the car and close the door then the auto dim feature will draw low power and you may or will blow a fuse during replacemment 2) for the map lights-- if you pop in the led bulb and it turns on for a split second , then you do have the correct polarity. Hope this helps

Thank you very much! It really is a massive improvement over the yellow stock bulbs. 30k cars should not be skipping out on such small upgrades.

Got the kit, installed the map lights and blew a fuse. A few others have had similar experience with the kit per internet search. Maybe a short in the bulb. In case it happens to you, fuse that blows is a 10A fuse oddly labeled "backup".

@@pequenioedgarito3067 The fuse to be replaced is in the passenger compartment fuse box, but there are spare fuses in the top of the engine compartment fuse box.

I’m so glad u did this video Awais. I ordered a set of LED’s for my VB about 6 weeks ago on eBay & forgot about it. They showed up yesterday, finally & they just came in a clip seal bag. No instructions or which LED goes where & no tool etc. so thanks for that.👍 Edit. Now I’ve watched the video I noticed my centre map lights, near the rear view mirror looks different to yours. My ceiling dome light has 2 globes & 2 switches as well as a door/off switch & my boot light has a black plastic cage over it. I took some pics if you’re interested.

I was like AWWW HONEY, I knew I had to modify my new car...for my daughter's sake. At least that's what I tell my wife 🤣🤣🤣 you'll have a great time with your kid. Have you seen the floorboard lights for like $130 or something. They're blue, so I just put blue led in .....every interior light. Dark as hell but looks kinda cool, haha

I keep one of those plastic pry tools in my console. That kit is worth it just for the trunk light. and I know each of you in this comment section have done the Amazon search and clicked the "fits 2022 WRX" and seen the thousands of lame ass items they claim to universally fit 😂

Was installing these today on my 22 and now all the lights don’t work I switched one & turned it on & all the lights even the backseat don’t turn on… may have been a fuse?

I have heard of the fuse going out on that. It hasn't happened to me or anybody directly to me. Let me dig around and see what I can find. I do believe that there is a fuse.

I noticed that some of the metal prongs can be GENTLY bent inwards to make a tighter fit. I stress the word GENTLY 🤘😅

Interesting, I got a premium white 2022 out of Watertown New York and I have all LEDs pre-installed as well as the STI shift knob & raised center console armrest which is extremely nice. Paid MSRP, paperwork does say Premium B. So I'm wondering if there's a Premium A with everything left out.

Interesting, I have a Prem. B (Moonroof + HK sound) and it doesn't have these LEDs. I think yours was an option on top of the Prem B package!

Sometimes you get lucky with those added options. Maybe someone ordered it that way and backed out last minute. I wish my state had good prices. In Missouri , AWD sedans are like gold bricks 🤣🤣. In Texas they are practically giving them away...I used to live there 😭😭
