For those with Hybrids or (I am not sure model differences) a separate turn signal wire this will not work with your turn signaling. The startup animation, brake lights and lights on when headlights are on will work. Personally, I prefer that the turn signal portion not work so its not a big deal to me but beware that the turn signaling won't work.
I just installed mine tonight on my 2024 Hybrid. The signal light will work, but you need to hook up the yellow wire to the signal wire on the turn signal wire
Just finished adding these to my 2023 CR-V. Things were a little different with my vehicle, but with your video, I was able to get it done! They look so cool!
Go to the description of this video. He lists links to everything you need. The lights come directly from China so it takes a few weeks to get them. Don’t worry though. Your patience pays off in the end.
Haha knew I can count on this channel, ordered these and hesitated on installing cuz kinda scared to take out the tail light housing but looks like I know what I’m gonna do today
Ya, once you get the 8mm screws removed, get your trim tool in the top and then work it around a little knowing from the video showing the insertion pins and that pink clip that are on the back of the light that your trying to remove. Thanks for watching!
I had installed mine, thanks for making this video, it helps a lot. I have 2023 Hybrid, the turning signal didn’t work but I’m grateful to have the rear deflector working at night (with applying breaks as well). I have added fog lights as well lol😂 but got stuck at the wiring. I don’t know which wire (out of 8 wires) is the acc wire.
And also got the front fog lights, wich were tricky to connect, into the harness plugs. If you ever find plug and play harness for the front leds drl\fogs, please let us know. Great videos
Do you have the option to turn the fog light on and off ? I mean to say can the fog light illuminate separately from the headlights. Where did you place the switch?
That would be a fun one! I have not looked at what harness is on the 7 inch or if there are any other sensors/antennas that do not come with the 7 but are required for the 9. Thanks for watching!
Do these lights flash or Sequential flash when using the turn signal? I got 2 diff pairs of these from 2 diff sources with the wiring harness adapter and none of them work with the turn signal. The Welcome flash and brake light function work, but not the turn signal function.
You would just unplug the light, pop it out of the bumper wrap, cut the wire to remove it thru the hole, take the new one and feed it thru, insert the pins into the plug and plug that into the harness. Thanks for watching!
Let's see when you make a video how to change the rear turn signal lights, allogeneous to LED because the ones they have on do not illuminate almost anything when you are going to turn....
Thank you for your help, can you do one for the car body front DRL Led Lights for this Honda CR-V 2023? I recently buy it but i don’t know where to put the cables on
@@zoomgas2803I have seen that edge light. Is that a part reference that you have run across or know of? If you have, yes please who distributes that. Thanks from the fans👌🏽🤙🏽
Is your car non-hybrid model? I have a hybrid and I tried installing this and it will not light up at all. Someone said it only works on non-hybrid models but that doesn’t make any sense to me because the lights are exactly the same. Any idea?
They are in the Philippines, so shipping does take several weeks, but have used them many times as have many other Honda owners. They offer a lot of great accessories and have always been satisfied. Thanks for watching!
This is a pretty dumb idea. Those reflectors are there for a pretty good reason. There have been many times I've followed vehicles with malfunctioning tail lights, and the reflectors were the only thing that kept me from running into them. I think I'll just leave mine alone, thank you very much.
Since these lights replace the rear reflectors, they are not legal as the car will now have no rear reflectors at night when the car is powered off. You should mention that as it may be an insurance issue in an accident.
