As an aussie who grew up with our football, then learning of yours through those rough international series, always great respect & appreciation for the sheer pace, skills & energy football brings. Was an incredible match, with remarkable skill!
BBC 2 showed the game in full over here in the UK, watched most of it and absolutely loved it, i don't have a team that i support but love the fact it's still an amateur game and the rules about how players can play for the team they play for. Still baffled with the scoring system at times but this one hell of a game, would love to experience it live, bet the atmosphere is amazing
@@MitchellPSmith-hl9fu Imho that works differently in sports. Bands don't actually compete for points or titles, sports don't focus on the beauty or the message of how they perform, and there are quite a few more differences. Regarding the beauty of it, in Ireland this sport will always be huge, cos irish people love it. The same thing happened to football and rugby back in the day, and now their expansion has allowed for more people to play those, enjoy those, make a living off those and so much more. Imho the gaelic football expansion would be hugely positive for many many people. Thanks for sharing ur thoughts below my comment tho!
@@santiagoremedi7385 I 100% agree with what you are saying. I will add though... there is something to be said about the fact that all the Gaelic football players do it for the love of the game since they can't make any money from it.
No double bounce at all. The momentum of ball to feet does not count at a double hop. Matters little now anyway. It's over. We lost to the better team, only in the end. Congratulations, Dublin. Thy Kingdom Come, Thy will be done, next year hopefully.
Very tight game it could of gone any way it's always a pleasure to go to battle against the kingdom and sure our battle will resume next year 👍🇮🇪 COYBIB 💪
norwegian here, how are you meant to play defence apart from a seemingly lucky steal? is there any technique that someone would like to share that has played ?
Usually teams swarm the player at a certain time to gain possession or use blanket defence to eventually win the ball back it’s all about timing and knowing when to try gain possession back
