Hearing this engine in real life is a very different experience than in a RU-vid video. You feel the size and vastness of the engine in your bones as everything around you vibrates to the pulses of those 10 cylinders. I hired a V10 R8 for my wedding a few years ago and it was amazing.

100%, any of these cars IRL would sound so much better. I have a modded up C6 and the way the exhaust hits your chest is so much better irl than on a camera.

@@androiduberalles yeah, I have a cammed 6.0 LS myself and the sound it makes at idle is violent and scary but I love it. I don’t think smaller engines give that feeling though. No V6 has ever given me that feeling.

I have an R8 RWD 2023 in the exact same color, and same exhaust. it is MUUUCH louder in person, hard to even explain

yeah an R8 even with the OPFs are loud as hell irl, cameras and microphones will never be able to replicate the sound you get from that harmony on wheels.

Even on camera these engines sound brutally musically glorious. In person they shake your brain and lungs, it's incredible. So sad these engines won't be around in future new cars.

I don't know if an exhaust will void a warranty in the country they are in but a tune definitely will they have ways of tracking if someone has looked at and change the software at all. They can probably look at the data log and see that the airflow has changed and assumed an exhaust was installed even if you put it back on the stock one
