@@fortysevensfortysevens1744 yea ik but the soundpack he used for them makes it much better than just metronome sounds, it makes it sound like a song background
I think it’s partly because you have the 6 and 12 providing backbeats of sorts but every time the 3 hits, the 6 and 12 hit as well because they’re all multiples of three. The 4 is the odd one out, providing that off beat
Oh god, it’s like one of those optical illusions using negative space where you can switch between seeing one of two images depending on what you pay attention to. (0:12) • If you focus on the 3 count, the 6 and the 12 fall in line, and the 4 becomes flavour. • If you focus on the 4 count, the 12 falls in line, and the 3 and 6 become flavour.
Thanks for watching! By simply call add_sound method, see docs.manim.community/en/stable/reference/manim.scene.scene.Scene.html?highlight=add_sound#manim.scene.scene.Scene.add_sound
This is actually relatively easy to play with all 4 limbs. You could actually define the 12 as a 4, the 6 as a 2, the 4 as a 1 and the 3 as well a dotted 2. Quadruple the signature and you’ve got 16,8,4, dotted 4s. Easy to play! You might count wrong though😂
God it sounds SO much better when the sounds are clearly different and you can actually tell them apart, rather than just being a mess of too similar percussion
Not quite, because generally the 6: Polyrythm is felt in two parts, so like 1,2,3,1,2,3. That goes against the 3:4 rythm (to work as a double speed of that one it'd have to be 1,2,1,2,1,2) but doesn't fit the 4/4 rythm either. And then the :12 rythm isn't just a speed up of :4 or :3, speed ups of :4 would be 8ths or 16ths
