I'm not a camaro guy, but esp nowadays, getting a 455hp muscle car for 41k is a great deal. You can mod the heck out of it and actually have money to do it, lol.

@ChrisFromFloriduh Год назад
@@JohnSmith-oy2so From what I’m being told, yep. 2024 will be the last year for the car. Now, weather it will be built until the end of 2023 or the end of 2024 is the question that no one has an answer for. This is what I was told personally. 2024 model year could be the last model year and GM is either making a short model year (from August 2023 - January 2024) or (from August 2023 - December 2024). They can build a model year so long as the actual year is matching. One person from Chevy told me personally that, 2026 model year (build dates from August/September 2025 - August/December 2026) will be the last model year for NASCAR purposes. As the ZL1 will be the Chevrolet NASCAR vehicle until 2026, and GM only races a car that is in production in NASCAR.

I just placed an order for a 2023 1LT V6 but I was heavily tempted by this trim. My problem is a V8 would be wasted in NJ traffic lol. This will be my 4th Camaro and I think I'm more excited by this version than the others. Just have a long wait until it's built. I'll look for your 2023 V6 video and check that out. Love your videos. The suspension is the same (FE3) unless you go magna ride. The weight difference is mostly in the extra cooling features and other factors can be the larger rear brakes and larger rear wheels the SS has that the LT1 does not. It's not really in the body panels from what I have learned.

Thank you for this video review. I just purchased a 2023 1SS Camaro convertible 2 weeks ago and have been binge watching Gen 6 videos on these cars. It seems most youtubers are hyping the 2SS 1LE and ZL1 models. The ZL1 is in a class of its own, so I will leave it out of this comparison. By choosing the 1SS, I gave up some creature comforts and front splitter of the 2SS, but I also gave up weight that wasn't worth the price for me. Seeing this video, the RS 1LE is a steal. They all have the same engine with the same HP rating, so the RS, if upgraded to 305 tires on the rear, should be the fastest of the mid-level Camaros because of its lighter weight. That's why I chose the Formula over the Trans Ams years ago. 99% of us never take these cars on a racetrack, so we'll never see the benefit of magnetic suspension. We use them as daily drivers (weather permitting) and get on the throttle once in a while when conditions permit. This video you posted was an eye opener for sure. Thanks again.
