I've had mine for about a month now. Only complaint is I have found it to be relatively mediocre on gas compared to what it's advertised at. 8.4L / 100k according to the fuel economy 'tab' in the menu settings. Yes, it's on 2WD.
I put the playback speed to .75x and it all made sense. And I’m a New Yorker with a FAST speech pattern 😂. Just bought my RS AWD all black package last night. Love it so far, but we all know time will tell!
I will stick with my 2008 trailblazer LT, I haven't had any issues with it and it has been in my family since new , it's rugged and able to tie a 16 foot Car trailer with no problem, it's amazing in the snow and mud, granted it doesn't have all the Fancy new features like the 2021 but it does everything I need it to, it's pushing 256,987 miles and has the original transmission, transfer case engine etc I'm keeping it until the wheels fall off and it's not drivable
@@kaymorris507 I'm an ASE certified auto mechanic so I'm able to do just about any repairs needed to vehicles, I agree it is hard to find reputable and honest repair shops and I apologize for this , if I lived near you I would make sure that any repairs needed to your vehicle would be done with the best quality possible, I video record all repairs and procedures for proof of work done and repairs made to assure you that everything was done correctly and with quality, I have worked on and done maintenance and repairs for most of my neighbors and I believe that they would be able to vouch for me that I'm one of the hard to find honest auto mechanics and Auto body techs you'll find , there's other mechanics like myself who are just as honest .
I was gonna buy this car, but I could not in good conscience. So instead, I bought 2024 Toyota RAV4! My conscience is clear and I plan on keeping this car for a very long time. ❤️ I had a little 2022 GMC terrain with the turbo engine and it was pitiful just a putt putt car and the turbo puts a lot of pressure on the engine. Neither the turbo or the engine will hold up over 200,000 miles probably not even 150.
Sorry to say it not a good idea to buy for Northern hemisphere With harsh winter road conditions I live in northern Minnesota we need four-wheel drive plus ground clearance. it's too bad that they haven't figured out how to built in climate control into the steering wheel so I don't have to keep reaching in the center console to adjust the temperature plus the fan mode. I have cerebral palsy and I drive with one hand I have a 2004 V8 four-wheel drive trailblazer and it handles like a dream in the winter time am not give up that easy. Chevrolet needs to think about the northern climates before I buy a new trailblazer.
I have lived in “northern hemisphere “ for over 2 decades. AWD or 4WD may assist in non-ideal conditions, however majority of people watch or listen to the weather, therefore understanding that driving in adverse weather can place even the best drivers in the ditch. Regarding your other situations, allowing it to warm up 2-4 minutes prior taking off will increase the longevity of the powertrain and increase your abilities for a safe ride. This has multiple riding styles and even a ❄️ snow mode for those in land of the lakes and other areas where the weather does not cooperate often. This was designed for the majority of people who are not taking it off-roading but making it their daily driver. Great review 🫡🇺🇸
In past reviews for the other years I read that the 1.3 gets better gas mileage than the 1.2. I wouldn't get the 1.3. I think it would have to struggle more to move the car.
@monkey_leevr there is no button under the mirror to flip it but thank you for the advice. As far as auto, I do think it works as the glare from the lights remain. Again thanks for your advice.
@@zackkorth2410 I watch a ton of SUV reviews and I don't know of ANY vehicles that allow you to leave the stop/start feature off. I know the Nissan Rogue has a new (came out 2022) 1.5 turbo that does NOT have the stop/start at all, nice.
Calm down, a car made in Mexico is nothing compared to what's coming... Ladies and Gentlemen adjust your seatbelts cuz the show is about to start. What's coming in the economy will be remembered for decades.... and buying a car made in Mexico or anywhere else will be something that not a lot of people will have the privilege to do... actually is happening now... not that many people can afford to buy a brand new car assembly in Mexico .. sad
My mother has had her trailblazer ever since it came out and has put 27k mi on it and has had 0 problems. She changes the oil every 5k mi with full synthetic gf-6a oil that’s specifically made for smaller turbo gdi engines. She changes the engine air filter every year and always keeps up with maintenance. She also already changed the cvt fluid at 20k mi and she’s gonna change every 20k mi cause she wants this vehicle to last her a long time.
@@themonsters5467 yes and? The cvt is better in my opinion in terms of gas mileage and overall performance. It gets up to speed really quick with little throttle and it doesn’t rev high at all. For a daily driver it’s nice.
@@themonsters5467 ya Nissan CVTs are bad, but it’s the way they program them. Both Mitsubishi and Chevy use Nissan CVTs and haven’t had issues. My aunts 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage has 179k mi and it’s on the original CVT. She also changes the cvt fluid every 20k mi just like mother with her trailblazer and so far no issues at all.
OMG! This guy sounds like a chipmunk on speed! Dude, take a breath, I got about every fifth word. By the way, my turbo charger went with 8500 miles. If not under warranty, this would have cost over 1500 bucks. I dont think these 3 cylinders will last to 100,000 miles. OK to lease, not to buy.
