@@magnusbrlum6414 when they first started the tree thing if your tree touch the ground you're disqualified, his tree fell and touched the ground on the first burnout.

@salemcox9409 they had some kind of quick release on it so it would fall and not be in the way of parachutes

Is a good idea but I think the tree should not be allowed on the ground would be cooler to have to keep it on the car

@727srt I figured people may gripe about it. But as far as I know the tree has to stay connected outside the car, and that's the only rule.

Yea there pretty insane and put in perspective some of the race cars

It actually makes more sense than you'd think. Jet engines don't produce nearly the same amount of initial acceleration because they can't act directly against a solid surface, but they sustain that acceleration for much, much longer. Mullet, for example, hits peak Gs at most 2 seconds into the run, whereas a jet car is likely still piling on more acceleration past the 1000' mark.

I agree, cringe move by the Giraffe cherry picking his own event, at least win not DQ. The only one that had anything for him was Swanstrom and he's an 1/8th miler and CM would have beat him from the pass he had. Exhibition, challenge the winner but let the lesser cars battle it out.

I watch all his videos and I was there I know they said if you lose more then 50% of the tree your out
