@@carolinarider5237 nothing to do with making me happy. I'm a road glide owner myself and there just is no way you can justify a 50k bike that still needs certain upgrades. Mainly exhaust! This bike should sound like a Harley right off the showroom floor without the consumer paying an additional few or more thousand to upgrade cam and exhaust

@@carolinarider5237 Exactly. How could HD possibly know the kind of exhaust that probably 90% of buyers are going to change..

@@craigjarboe2834 right if HD put KW on, they would say it should have put something else on. It has 115 hr and a 139 tq and still some ain't happy. 🤦

It's because of the EPA, they de tune the shit out of the bike.

It a perfect match, Ironically Khrome werks does the black chrome finish for Harley on the CVO's. They kinda have an advantage in the matching finishes.

bolted right up. Same M8 and frame just new internals

it was about $1600 for the full exhaust, I installed it myself.

It's the same platform and frame so it bolted right up. No fitment issues

Did it need a tune ? Any noticeable change with air cleaner and pipe install?

So the only thing that is available is the SE tuner with their crappy map. Nobody has anything that will work yet. I know the FuelMoto is working on it with DynoJet but nothing yet. I assume that with the next model year out hopefully the VVT will have some options soon. Otherwise Im running rich for a while...

It is Khrome Werks Eclipse finish. They ironically do the finish for Harley so its an exact match.

The only tune available is the SE tuner and it's not much of a tune. Still waiting for DynoJet to get theirs ready and then I will re-tune it.

@@AZBaggers it’s rideable at least with the SE tune?im looking to go with a Bassani road rage 2 into 1 pipe with SE heavy breather and SE tuner for now until motor upgrades are available

@@AZBaggers did you have to dent the pipe to get it to fit around the bolt? Mine is hitting..

I did not, but I did need to find the right spot when installing it to avoid it. I also have the Kraus axle adjuster installed with no issues. You can adjust it in and out to find the right spot. you might also want to tighten up the header pipe everywhere if you havent already before the muffler install.

The SE tuner is the only temp option that there is currently. Not the best solution but it will work for now.

Plenty of videos out there from the likes of DK Customs and others claiming Stage 1 does not require a tune. They're talking about previous M8 bikes, not sure what would make this CVO any different. The Motorcycle Mechanic Institute teaches the M8 ECM will relearn and adjust for Stage 1. The bike may perform somewhat better with a tune, but not necessary and no damage will happen if not mapped for Stage 1. However, the tune from something such as Power Vision will give you 100% throttle response, remove speed governor, adjust RPM range, etc. Now, needing a tune for Stage 1 with a twin cam is another discussion.

They don’t have anything available except the SE tuner. So yes and no. It’s better than stock but not ideal

Totally understand. I have several bikes and they are bought for the sole intent to change things and try new products. It's my hobby, but I get your point, it's crazy that the basics aren't already included with the cost for these.

@@AZBaggers It's a beautiful machine. It's yours, do what makes you happy and enjoy it. I didn't mean to come off disrespectful. I've owned more HD's in my life than most people have years on this earth, and have spent a small fortune changing things. At this point in my life, the latest and greatest is just not my desire.

No Bluing. There was no sense putting it on the dyno, you cant adjust anything with the SE tuner. That is all that is available currently

@@AZBaggers that's what I've read. I have the wedge air cleaner and khrome werks mufflers with the home tuner and my right side muffler is already bluing from running lean.

Would have. However, nothing is available for the bike yet. Everyone is still figuring out the VVT motor. I dont want to be a guinea pig so I will wait until they get good at it.
