Added the Santoro Fab bag guards to the 2023 CVO, much higher quality over the Harley bag guards. Also, added a few Kraus foot controls and boards and finally some Baja Designs amber fog lights
Great Job! I just bought the same BD lights to install my CVO 23 RG as well.. they look terrific! Question: Did you have any error codes when installing the lights? Any specials recommendations for the installation would be greatly appreciated!
@@erickwauthion5634 so I have mine run directly to the battery on its own switch. I’m not sure if the integrated fog light provision will work with Baja design lights. I’m hopeful to find an integrated solution though.
question on the Baja lights. I just bought the same S2 Pro's. I see you installed the switch that comes with it. Assuming you had to run the wires to the battery for that. I also have the 23 CVO and my understanding is that all you have to do is pug the lights into the harness in the front of bike near radiator. if I am correct what is the reason to run the wires like you did, just for the on/off switch? Thanks
Harley just released the harness to install at the plug by the radiator. However the input side is only for the HD lights and will not have the relay needed for the BD lights. Different power requirements. Im sure that someone will be able to figure out the plug and play option to that connection, it just wasn't an option and still is not for the BD lights. As far as I know.
the bars themselves were only $120 but the whole set up was about $800. The only pain in the ass was reaming out the bars to accommodate the heated grips. I went with ODI bars, 1 1/8, thrashin 1 inch bars require no modification. the general install was the easiest bar swap I have ever done. I have done at least a dozen on all years. 2 small wire looms to pull. they did it right with the new Can-Bus
I am using custom dynamics light mounts and some iron angled washers to make them straight because of the angle of the crash bar. they were pointed at the front tire because of the angle.
