In this video we take a look at one of our 2023 Daihatsu Hijet Cargo Vans! If you want to learn more about our mini truck inventory please visit us on the web. www.usminitrucksales.com
If they bought it from the Philippines it would be a left-hand drive truck/van since those are pretty common here. And yes, we drive on the right side of the road too.
They are street legal, don't drive em on the interstate, use back roads, and put a Triangle on the back of it if you have to cross or frequent high speed roads.(Sold as off road use, but law permits them on many roads)
In the state of Georgia you can't even register them to my knowledge. I would love to have this van! Most American families don't need 300 hp and 12 mpg to go to Walmart.
@@NunyaBusIness-tl1ev They are only street legal in the US if they are 25 years old and older. New kei trucks are for farm use, private land, etc. Maybe a golf course or something. No Kei truck even 1999 model and older is legal on the interstate. Only 55 mph and less roads can you legally drive them. This thing is basically worthless until the year 2048 or until the government changes the 25 year rule law. The latter is never going to happen.
Can you start it up while you're talking about the vehicle so we can hear what it sounds like please. Where I live on the Big Island of HI I see a few of these on the road and with gas prices the way they are these cars look very feasible to use on the road.
No. You cannot even drive it on any public road at all in North America. Kei trucks and kei vans must be 25 years old and older to be street legal in the US and even then you cannot drive them on the interstate. The roads must be 55 mph speed limit and under. The 25+ year old ones depending on make are 3 cylinders and 38-42 horsepower. Max speed winding the motor completely out typically about 55 mph. 60 if going downhill with the wind in your favor.
@@josephdover198 We're lucky in Australia as we can register newer models and drive them anywhere. The turbo model has 66hp and tops out at 80mph. It's still pretty slow but at least can cruise at highway speeds here (60-65mph)
