I will forever have "Coming to Your City" by Big and Rich etched into my brain as the official anthem of College Football. Whenever that song comes on I am instantly transported back in time to my early teens and a cool fall Saturday.
I really liked the “Back in the Mud” theme when I was a kid! I don’t know how long it lasted, but it brings back good memories anytime I hear that song!
@@soonerborn7603 Back in the Mud was cool when College Gameday used it for its intros. It was popularized by Madden 2004 right before ESPN added it to Gameday. Personally, I prefer the old College Gameday of the 90s without all the pop culture infused in the show.
2014: We've waited CENTURIES for an Anthem. 2015: It's been HISTORY for an Anthem. 2016: All of us was COLLIDERS to find an Anthem 2017: We had to WALK ON WATER for an Anthem 2018: They were NATURAL for that Anthem 2019: We had to SEARCH and didn't LET GO for an Anthem 2020: COME AND GO find that Anthem 2021: We have to go and RUN IT 2022: Somebody is an Emperor 2023: They gave us Something Real. all of these are anthems ESPN used throughout the years of College Football from 2014-2023.
The passion. The traditions. The fans. The atmospheres. The history. The rivalries. 261 Division I teams. This anthem is so freakin’ incredible and emotional that it brought a tear to my eye. I love college football so much, and even though it’s rapidly changing, it truly is and always will be the greatest sport in the world! WDE!!!🧡🐅🦅💙
Nah it’s actually dying, the REAL greatest sport with actual hundreds of years is soccer “real football” and it’s surging in America. Will soon be number one just like the rest of the world.
@@catpantsfriday8423 I’m praying that won’t be the case. At the same time don’t really care about how well other sports are doing and what other people think because in my eyes CFB will always be #1 imo.
This has been my favorite year for College Football. I’m a Liberty University fan and we had our best year in school history. Proud of them for playing in the fiesta bowl against the best team in the nation, Oregon. 👏 👏 👏
As a Texas fan, watching Quinn walk out when the song first hits just always made me feel good about this upcoming season idk why lol and i guess i was right. This is probably my new favorite cfb hype video.
On this side of the pond, college sports (especially football) just has a different feel. Every single game is like a professional playoff game. The best kids on the continent giving it their all week in and week out. Unmatched.
the part when it said "miracle" and it showed the app state hail mary, lsu winning vs bama, tulane fans vs usc, tcu vs ok state, then the tennesee fan on the goalpost was cold.
Give the editors of ESPN a raise. Lyrics go with the video 0:47 "Miracle" -> Game Winners 0:53 "Can't believe" -> Shocked ECU face LOL 0:55 "Louis V" -> Louisville
