I have a 2017 KR loaded with every option available, love it. MSRP was 60500. I don't know if I will ever buy another at the price of $82k...just insane.
You gotta be real scum to try to sell such an expensive truck without a bedliner. Ford beancounters at work...in a "premium" model for a "premium" price. $82k... This has to stop.
I’m not surprised, car dealer ships always charge out they ass then they question why they can’t sell anything new. I wanted a ford bronco but I’m not wasting 60+ G when I could but used Jeep Wrangler for cheaper
@@Kenneth_R and 99.9% would get it if they wanted it and if they do they might want to choose an aftermarket option that is better than what the manufacturer offers. Or they might just get a rubber mat instead, so like I said not everyone wants it, even if the truck cost $100,000.
I like the king ranch except for the cowhide leather it's high maintenance to keep it from dring out and cracking if you don't clean it with saddle soap and leather treatment.
King Ranch for me. The blackened rims and grill on the platinum are ugly in my opinion. I prefer the chrome appearance packages on the trucks. Thanks for the video.
@@chrislancaster1982f even lol…. Once you add even the smallest of add on options, there all over $50k…. But…. Rather pay 60k for something new than pay 60k for one with 50k miles on it which is what’s going on right now with the market.
I received my 2023 King Ranch back in May. 3500 miles and going strong. I have taken it for long trips and have enjoyed all the features it has. Especially the adaptive cruise control. I will be doing my first oil change soon. My neighbor has a platinum and is a 2020 model year. Beautiful truck as well but I like my truck style better. I guess that my age has something to do with it.
I was 11 yrs old early 90s so u telling me that logo is from 1800s.i thought it was the wood forest logo I drew.used at Wal-Mart the both I drew.heck I have not gotten a dime.for my art work.not I didn't intend logo.to be used but they were
That is not a regular Platinum. It looks like a Raptor? The standard F150 Platinum looks like the King Ranch but with painted bumper and brushed nickel grill. Maybe that is the blackout package- dunno, must be a mutant Platinum.Dual tail pipes? My 2022 Platinum has the same hood as your King Ranch.
Saw another video of the 2024 F-150 at an auto show. MSRP was the same between King Ranch & Platinum so I searched the differences and this video came up for 2023 models. Didn't realize the differences were so dramatic on the front end appearance. I like the look of the Platinum better. Looks more modern and "tough" than the King Ranch which is incredible to say. Thanks for the video though.
The king ranch is the more prestigous truck. I believe it costs them more to make the kingranch as most of the leather on the platinum is fake. As is most new vehicles. Thats why it feels more smooth. And real leather is way pricier. Fake leather also lasts long with less maintanence. So is one better then the other? Maybe not. But the king ranch is the true king of the castle. The limited doesnt apply as they are litterally limited. Theres not a limited every year...
Just rented an F150 Platinum and fell in love with it so we are now in the market for either a 2023 KR or Platinum F150. Any suggestions for best deals in Florida or Indiana?
I've always fancied the King Ranch. I guess its mostly just the aura of it. But there is a little too much chrome on it for my taste. I assume there is no options to get less chrome?
I’m so happy I found your channel I’m looking to buy a F-150 but with me being a lady I don’t know where to start! Edit: there are woman that know what they’re doing but I’m not one of them 😂
