Same here,trucks are very overpriced.

But your house is probably worth over a million now. Just do a 2nd mortgage and buy a Raptor R! Probably will be 50k above msrp though. Maybe 200k But reality is not many are being made anyway. Just a super specialty truck. Lots of trucks are in the 30k to 60k range and all fully capable of 99.9% of what it is intended for.

Ha ha. If you have to ask why a man toy has a phallic stick coming out of the center console, then you're clearly not a customer for one.

@@TestDrivenTV well I am certainly not a customer for this toy. I have had trucks with both the console shifter and the rotary dial in the dash. Both work fine but I think I prefer the rotary dial. I was merely poking fun with the phallic stick comment. 😁

Of the 3 manufacturers mentioned, Ford is the only one with a major safety flaw in the design of their auto transmission!!! • In an emergency, you can't push the shift lever from D into N with an open palm!!! This is not shifting in the normal sense by pulling up on the shift lever and changing gears! • On Ram, Chevy, GMC as well as most other auto manufacturers you can do the emergency disconnect move - Honda, Toyota, BMW, Lexus, Audi, Mercedes, Nissan just to name a few!!! • The same is true on Ford's console mounted auto transmissions - you can't do the above move but have to push the lockout button!! • The whole idea behind this safety design is to allow the driver to disconnect the engine from the drivetrain without having to worry about putting the trans into Reverse! There is a safety detent and the transmission cannot go into Reverse with this emergency procedure! • No dealer know about this because for some reason, the manufacturers do not publish this info!!! Try it - you just may be pleasantly surprised unless you own a Ford product!!!!

Try ordering a Maverick or a Bronco. Anything Ford that is not an Edge, Expedition or F-150 is a 6-18 month wait minimum.
