Microsoft needs to start listening and enable support for alternate pixel layouts of these OLED panels like triangle (QD-OLED) and RGBW (LG) This has been requested since the first people started using OLED TVs as monitors, but they just don't care. Is there any news about 1440p, 240hz VA panels becoming cheaper or more variants of those being produced at this time? Because something like OLED is just too far out of budget right now, as well as the "latest graphics cards that have far surpassed monitor technology" that you mentioned. You didn't know what happened huh? Japan control all the substances to create OLED and they got in fight with korea back in 2018. This causing LG and Samsung create their own substances to create OLED and Japan Monopoly with OLED tech ended in 2021 That's why in 2023, OLED will be mainstream because every display manufacturer got their panel from LG. While high end panel will use Samsung. China also successful creating their own Mini-LED in 2021 and they started to mass produce Mini-LED late last year. Which means this year we can have affordable Mini-LED monitor from AOC and ViewSonic What funny thing is Japanese company who own OLED tech (JOLED) lose their customers and they asked taiwanese to save them. As someone who likes playing one to two games so in my case, Destiny 2 and Overwatch 2, I'll consider OLED panels in few more years. The burn in problems kinda turned me off for this technology despite of being instant faster than other panels.

As an early OLED adopter (LG E6 back in 2017) I got MASSIVE BURN IN with Destiny 2. Ruined my LG OLED, and it's the reason I never play static HUD games. I've played Resident Evil Village & Callisto Protocol both recent/modern games and NO HUDS!!! 🙌🙌

Just give us high refresh 1440p on 24" or 25" size. Don't care if it's OLED, IPS or TN.

OLED gaming monitors seem to be crap for adaptive sync, causing flickering with it enabled. Returned mine the same day

@@garrusvakarian8709 there’s that, but there’s also the chance that high refresh rate ips monitors lower in cost due to this so explore your options and pick what’s for you! wish you the best of luck!

Excited. I hope there's some 4k 144/160HZ OLED screens coming up at 27 or 32 inches, too. Has anybody heard of some?

Man I am super excited for those 1440p 240hz OLEDs! Been I gave my 1440p Asus PG279Q to my brother because I bought myself an LG CX for 4k gaming but I don't like playing shooters on it and have been itching to buy another 1440p to play my shooters on.

well i saw 240hz oled measures and while one particular input delay is 0.1ms the overall click to flash reaction time is around 1ms higher then on the benq 2566k even with dyac on. so for fps gamers the 360hz tn or ips panels still might eb better than the 240hz oled especially if you dont wanna have your crosshair burned in

OLED does not have less lag due the buffering needed for pixel control.
