I test ride the 2023 Harley-Davidson Road King Special cruiser motorcycle through the city and give my first impressions on how it rides and drives.

There's a gear indicator. It's in the gear/rpm mode. I rode this bike (road king) and softtail heritage at a demo today at my local hd dealership. I was surprised how much I like the road king more over the softtail heritage. I like the heaviness of the bike. Helps create a smooth ride and helps on those windy days. I currently ride an 07 Dyna Wide Glide. Ride safe, everyone.

They are stock pipes. Bought one this weekend. Louder than most stock Harley pipes. I did order some Neighbor Haters, so waiting for them to get in.

You need to look at the specs & features before you test ride these bikes, your review does not match the specs & features of the motorcycles. The Road King is a touring bike & the Breakout is a Softail Cruiser. The Breakout weighs a lot less than the Road King. The chassis of these two bikes are different as is the engine mounting on both bikes.

"The bike is shaking pretty violently at a stop here." You should ride a pre-Milwaukee 8 Road King if you think that 2023 is shaking violently.

Thanks for the video. What happened to the Road King? Where is the classic Road King with the chrome and windshield? They only make the 'special' now, correct? That's not the Road King I grew up drooling on. Btw, yellow and blue? Really? That blue looks like a toy. I'm disappointed...

I will Always be a big fan of Vivid Black... These silly girly colors of 2023 are just that,Silly... I'm guessing that there is a woman who is choosing these colors for HD?🤔

Here in Germany, everything has to be black at the moment: cars, motorbikes, T-Shirts, just because the Macho fraction of customers lives in constant fear of not appearing virile enough - it has become plain boring. And depressing. Give me optimistic colours! I would go for the blue bike. You can call me girlie, I could live with that.
