Weather in Wales been terrible rain,rain and more rain, Sunday this week was dull but dry, so I took my bike out first time in six weeks, I enjoyed it😊, have a good time over Christmas 🎄 looking forward to see what videos you put out in 2024 .

Hi Shaun, hope you have a great Christmas and a HNY with family and friends. Done Ireland / WAW 3 times, so if I can help just ask .... You've certainly made a great choice as some of Ireland (Donegal in the NW) is like Scotland on stilts! And the roads at the extremes are much, much better tarmac! And if you end up in the Wicklow mountains on the old military road, watch out for the very random speed humps! Like Scotland, you could stop too often for photos / scenic spots, but don't let it become a road tour! Enjoy the new Trumpet. Mike.

I've brought the year to an end by buying a new CB750 Hornet. My first new bike (always 2nd hand and run them into the ground as I knock up the milage) since the early 1980's. Ordering was a 2 month lead-in time but eventually collected it last week. 600 mile service this Friday. For me, less is more and touring light is key. Bring your waterproofs for Ireland! 😉. I'll look forward to next year's offerings. Merry Christmas and a happy New year. 🎊🎉

Get used to that low oil pressure light very common on the engine and if you're doing Ireland make sure you do Northern Ireland coast Road it has got to be one of the most scenic road I have done

Seems its a common thing, a few people have mentioned that the sensor is sensitive. Not too much to worry about as long as its got oil in it🤣

I did the Atlantic route in Ireland last year, with my family, so it was in a car alas. There are some good roads that you'll surely enjoy on a bike. There are a lot of blind corners and narrow roads in Ireland so progress may be slower than you're used to. It's not an absolute minus though as you'll get to enjoy the countryside more. You'll change the way you normally ride but it'll be good just the same. Oh, the mountains on the east side are great as well. Mind the wildlife there. Had a few deer cross my path up there. It was scary in a car, imagine how it'll leave yu shitless on a bike lol!

It was fairly similar to travelling up the west coast of Scotland, slow going but really wasn't bothered!

His name is Dave and his channel WheelieGoodTV. Channel name a bit cheesy I know but has good honest content like yours and Andy’s. It would have been a good experience if you’d met him I’m sure. Very happy with it Andrew, and way more comfortable!🤣 I really ed enjoyed the GS in Spain, but still lacks that excitement factor that the Triumph has bags of, plus the new GS looks awful🤣

If you end up going to Ireland, check out “Adventure Bike Pilot”. He’s an Irishman on a GS that adds a whole new level to the “ Wild Atlantic Way”.

You'd probably struggle with the Rally Pro, it's really tall! You can drop the ride height at the push of a button, which helps, but it may still be too tall for you. The GT may be the better option, but you'd need to sit on a few and see for yourself. The Tiger 900 could also be a good option for you?

I bought a low heated seat for my 1200GT Pro and after the software update with the possibility to lower the ride height it is no problem having both feet flat to ground, just replacing the 2022 1200GT Pro with the 1200 GT Explorer just because of the bigger tank😃

Oil pressure sensor is super sensitive, my speed triple 1200rr did the same and went away when I switched it off/on again. Triumph know it is a common issue and just made an adjustment in the software to be less sensitive when I had it serviced 👍

Loved it. Have a great Christmas. Bloody European bikes. Think Chinese is the way to go. And I'm a Honda guy. I've a Chinese 'Herald Maverick' 125. 3 years n not an issue. Did u check out CF moto recently. They've a few juicy bikes. Anyway. Have a great one with the family. And a fabulous new year 🎉

Thanks for the. reply Shaun. Yes come to think of it, I'm sure that I met you at a BBQ on the front lawn of my brother Dennis's place when I arrived on either my GSA or the 1200RT. Just watching your video and you mentioned Ireland in 2024. I'm doing a 3 week tour in May. I'm taking my Himalayan to a mates place just outside of Dublin on my trailer and then my wife will be doing 2 weeks in the car then she flies back home and my mate and some of his Harley buddies will be heading down to Killarney for the long weekend bike festival. What audio are you using with your Insta 360? Hope to catch up sometime 😊

Not been to Ireland before, it looks amazing! I use an external audio recorder, the Zoom F2 with a lavalier mic that's mounted inside my helmet. The audio from the cameras isn't usable, as they pick up mostly wind noise.
