Once again Warro proves that a determined individual can overcome many obstacles and they don't need a mega adventure bike to do it! Amazing!

Hi Warro. Well, I was thinking of test riding a CB125E (Virtually brand new, 134 k's only.) on Friday but your comment has made me feel like it may be a waste of time. New CB125F or Suzuki V-Strom 250, $6,490 ride away, no more to pay. The Suzuki sure is tempting. Thanks Warro.

@MrBenHaynes
@MrBenHaynes Год назад
The Suzuki's annual rego will be twice the price of the 125f (grrenslip jumps in price above 225cc). Depends on use. As a predominantly around town commuter the 125f is the ticket. If regularly venturing onto open speed limit roads, the 250SX would be a far better choice. Value for money on both choices though.

@ridewithwarro
@ridewithwarro Год назад
yeah and if it was its hardly any money in usd. but i suppose they'd make up for it and jack up the price that final run to the vally floor and the river is certainly a good run. something like 2 klm i think. one time i might set my odometer and do a call on it. donrt expect to go back down that way till mybe next month if the new suzuki vstom 250 sx arrives on time. well thats the plan so see how that idea goes...lol all the best!

yeah they have been talking about that for several years and each time it falls through. that would also mean they would have to improve the access to the river both sides too.would be quite some work there. plus i suppose when or if it ever happen one great off road style of road would disappear and after that -its just another road. but your right. that would be a quick trip to hill end and onto mudgee

@@ridewithwarro They've cut a section above the rockslide Warro. It'd be a HOOT on the 125f. The plucky little girl would pick it's way through the thick bulldust (on the steep new section) whereas the 250SX would plow through it on those Indian MRF Meteor tyres. Hi Warro. I spoke with you on RU-vid a few weeks back. I bought the 125f in NZ. Couple of questions I am hoping you can help me with. 1. What tyre pressures are you running on this type of terrain and other types e.g. mud. 2. In NZ these bikes have dual braking, not sure of the technical name, but front or rear brake controls both brakes. If you have the same in OZ how do you find this type of brake setup on steep rocky or gravel downhills? Do you find the front wheel locks up? I encountered this the other day on similar terrain to video. Probably should have been in first as steep and stony. But was in second, so braking hard and road tyre pressures.
@ridewithwarro
@ridewithwarro 11 месяцев назад
i was using 24/30 or thats what the dealer had in it. i never touched tyre pressure regardless of where i rode it. yeah i'd say 1st would have been a better gear choice downhill. dont recall having and wheel lockups but you might be travelling quicker than me. i think the slower and steady approach will get you down and back up most areas

So between this CB125F and the CT125 (Which Lucky you owned one), do you still think that this CB is actually a better Value? I would like to own a little 125 for my light off-road commutes for quite some time now and I'm really fed up with Honda not bringing the CT125 to Europe, and probably it will never happen. This CB125F might be the closest thing to the CT, Do you think it goes good off-road as the CT?
@ridewithwarro
@ridewithwarro 2 месяца назад
actually owned 2 x ct125 so yes i think the cb125f is the better bike at half the price. my bet is if it had more off road style tyres it could go where you point it. well subject to conditions like a slower steady pace overall the cb125f is a great value bike so buy one. the new gb350 is better still but its double the price
