I think parts like this never get made in a fully replacement because it would be very difficult if not impossible make all the clips and mounting points for the buttons and shift boot and have it be reliable and have that perfect fitment. If they did make it, it would be crazy expensive and it really wouldnt be any lighter then the oem plastic anyways so people wouldn't buy it.
Yes its still great. Its an OEM part from Honda so fit and finish is perfect but no its not worth $700. I got mine for $550 if i remeber correctly. But if i could go back in time id have got one aftermarket like from company Carbonsixthelement. Much cheaper and still great quality and fitment.
Yes. Honda originally made these only for right hand drive cars. Then they made a few for the left hand drive cars like mine which are very rare right now and since I bought through a vendor i had to pay their up charge so they make money as well. Original Part price is about 450 to 500 somewhere around there. Also this particular carbon with the red kevlar material in it is more expensive then regular carbon.
@@MoisesEmpire Thanks for explaining. I've spent the last hour looking for this part online and only found it on Japanese sites. I can't understand why Honda is making it so difficult to buy for left hand drive cars. It's a must have option IMO. I think the stock console looks and feels cheap...unbefitting for the CTR.
It is a genuine Honda part. If it wasnt they wouldnt be able to advertise it as a genuine Honda part and they definitely wouldn't be able to put the Honda logo on it and its part number. If it wasn't a Honda part, Honda would be sueing them in a heart beat and wouldn't allow them to sell it.
