2023 Honda Civic VS 2023 Honda Accord - Which Is BETTER? 

Regardless of what I think of the exterior of both cars, there's no doubt Honda knocked the interior out of the park with both. That honeycomb vent design is so smooth, reminds me of older cars. Clever clever

For the first time ever to me, the civic looks better. Unbelievable, honda just didn't even try on the accord.

I'm normally accord I own a 2021 2 liter but I have to go with civic..when they did the 22 refresh on the civic looks very good. Definitely better than the 23 accord imo

For how poor the redesign is on the new Accord, I would rather save some cash and buy the Civic. What would you rather buy?

With every new generation, Honda seems to make the Civic like the last older Gen Accord. I’ve noticed that for years. Both cars are great.

Just picked up the 2023 accord ex and it has been a wonderful car. Extremely refined and comfortable daily driver.

They took a huge step back on the look of the Accord.

The Civic is a much better vehicle all around, it has better looks, performance and reliability and better MPG.

The Sport Touring trim on the Civic rivals if not even beats the Accords interior

Honestly I was waiting for a youtube review on the welcome chime to the new accord. I'm so glad they kept the more cinematic one than the electronic one. Now I wonder if all trim levels have the old chime

Instrument cluster is much better in the Accord. The Civic has no temp gauge for engine temperature. I'm sure the Accord also rides better and is quieter inside the cabin. I'm going to test drive an Accord EX and a Civic Touring at a local dealer this weekend. Wish me luck.

Great with both models. It depends on customer needs: conservative sedan (ACCORD) vs sporty sedan (CIVIC). If you wanna be in the center, maybe you should go with the Accord Touring or Sport-L

Right out of the box “the Civic looks sportier”… NO SHIT! It’s the sports trim model. Compare the same trim levels or it’s a poor comparison vid.

Ambos son muy parecidos y bonitos pero definitivamente el Accord esta un escalon arriba. Acabo de comprar un EX igual al que muestras en el video y me enamore de el. Es mucho mas espacioso que el Civic y tiene mas precensia. El Civic me parece carro para un estudiante y el Accord para un publico mas maduro.

Thank you for another great video. Hope Honda would do something to increase to performance of the Civic "Sport" because currently it's just too slow. Noticeably slower than the base Elantra.

I chose the 2023 Honda Accord ex because it is a grown up car! My daughter has the Civic.

Saw my first 23 Accord two weeks ago at a local Honda lot and I was shocked at how uglier the Accord is compared to videos and pictures of it...I just found the Accord FUGLY...and now that they ditched the 2.0 Turbo with 9 speed auto trans I'd take the Civic any day it's much better looking and not a damn hybrid which they can shove....the 2017 to 2022 Accord was a sexy car inside and out but the 23 NO WAY.

boooooo. great review my brother but I'm still in love with my 2018 accord with the 2.0 turbo 6 SPEED MANUAL. if i could have one thing from the 2023 version into my 2018 will be the full screen cluster display, other than that there’s nothing else i would change about my car

I don’t like the Civic’s infotainment area or the drive. My 2022 drive of the Civic hatch when my dealer was desperate to have my car on the lot for the Used market showed me how far the car had stepped back. It was louder driving lots of road noise, the stereo system was boring no personality or functionality, lack of satellite radio unless you did a touring but the Accord lacks that as well. The top trim Touring Accord does have the Play store to download directly to the screen XM or other audio apps which is interesting and I’d like Honda to show off more of how that operates like how Alexa integration operates inside. So far only Google has been shown off. The Accord Hybrid trims eclipse the Touring Civic with the available 12.3 display and the fuel economy. The intuitive screen with Alexa available and the ability for the first time outside of the family cars let you remote start with your phone or smart home device. Something I have been hoping to see in the Civic since basic Hyundai sedans and Nissan come with that standard connectivity even the Jetta. The ride was much better in the Accord than the Civic and the seat was by far more comfortable allowing to enjoy the ride rather than how soon you can get out and walk which is what I do now in my 2020 Civic. The seats are just terrible in the Civic. I like that the Touring Accord also gives you ventilated seats that even the CR-V doesn’t offer at all. It makes the Accord a great buy and provides the connections people are looking to get out of their now higher priced Honda car. I think my choice will be the Accord. I can get over the early 90’s futuristic rear light area but can appreciate it being all LED where the Civic does more halogen bulbs on front and back. The lack of fog lights on both models is a bummer as I do like having them on my current Civic. But the 12.3 in display option in the Accord and it’s ease of use was a big win for me to move into the next sedan size instead of staying with the Civic.

The accord to me looks similar to an Acura and the Civic looks like an older model Accord.

the Civic looks sportier, but the design is a little messy. The Accord is more refined, but the design is a little basic. I would take the accord though since you can probably dress it up better. If i'm gonna buy a sedan, I would get one with the most room.

Nice review. Apples to apples comparison would be the Civic EX vs Accord EX. Both with the 1.5 turbo engine. What bothers me is that Accord EX doesn't come with a leather wrapped steering wheel and Civic EX does. Why?

The '23 Accord dropped off my list when I saw the abysmally bland exterior design. I don't need excitement, but they really outdid themselves this time on churning out something with almost ZERO style. Looks like something a North Korean car company would design-if one existed.

Their both accords. How has honda and their fans have become to delusional. Such as chicken nuggets has the rightful name as a chicken wing. And they call it boneless wings. This generation has lost it. Very disrespectful to the civic. Do they even know what a civic looks like anymore.
