The sweet spot in buying a car was in 2020-2021. Where prices were lower, rebates,& lower interest rates. How are people going to afford these increases in a recession environment. Approaching Acura RDX pricing.
I had a 2021 crv awd base model and hated the comfort of the seat on long distance trips. I traded it for a 2023 crv sport model. For me, its a night and day change on the drive, comfort and overall driving experience. I really love it.....I have driven it on a 500km trip and not once did I have a discomfort. it is quieter then my 21....I am OK with the 1.5 l engine. It has good pick up and good fuel economy.
I understand that gas mileage is important however a 1.5L engine in a car this size is pushing its luck. I think it will likely need to "work" harder to move the car. Plus I'm not a fan of CVTs.
The comparison at the end of the review is eye opening. Honda makes a good vehicle (generally) and paying the premium for a Honda may work out well for long term ownership experience. That being said, Toyota and Mitsubishi make good vehicles too. This segment is very important for family buyers, where perceived value matters. The RAV4 hybrid for less, or the Mitsubishi with the 3rd row and all the amenities are much more compelling offerings.
Reliability, safety and comfort are first on my list, so definitely I would buy a CRV, besides it looks elegant, sober and sporty. Of course some folks prefer panoramic tops that you never look up to and more gadgets that in the end you use once in a while
In the US, if you get the hybrid version, you will NOT get a spare tire or room under the trunk floor, since the hybrid battery is under the rear seat. Just something to consider. They do give you a tire inflator kit.
I have a 2023 rav 4 XLE and a 2024 CRV SPORT here is toronto , the drive difference is like night and day , the crv feels much much much more agile and sportier than the rav 4 , for me much more pleasant to drive its ride justifies the 5 thousand dollar extra over the rav 4 . The rav is quiet and composed and the crv is sharp and agile
The comparison at the end was very good. I drive a crv2023 exl and it is an excellent car to drive but the price is little high, compared to other brands/ similar models.
Canadian trim levels are very different from USA. We get a mid grade sport hybrid while you only get the top tier touring hybrid. But you get a low level LX which we don't get at all.
I love the design of the new CRV. In addition, it looks even better with that Blue color with Black wheels. Great combination. Honda, you did a great job with the new design. Keep it up on that path. Hopefully I can buy this car in one year or so.
@@EverydayReviews2022 thanks! Btw i am going to book my new honda crv lx fwd tomorrow in Ontario, will get it delivered next week I get your points that cr v is much expensive but cr v is the only one that is available on the lot as of now, I checked with at least 20 different dealers for each Hyundai, toyota and honda. Hyundai dealers are saying 8/10 months wait and the ones who do have few in lot are asking for ridiculous markups and ‘premium on the lot charge’ which is average $3000/$4000 Toyota is unavailable anywhere (6/10 months wait) So considering all that, and the fact that i want to have a car sooner and i want a new, reliable car, Honda is a steal according to me…
Pretty expensive for a 1.5 liter engine still probably oil diluted problem and no response from Honda until today, get the RAV4 if you plan to invest that kind of money. I have 3 times a huge disappointment on Honda from paint quality to transmission and engine failure on a brand new Civic Turbo. Make yourself a favor get a Toyota.
9:18 - very quiet, i will have to disagree, it woke up my neighbor as soon as i turn on the car , there is a loud humming sound, but when you put it on reserve, its so loud that it woke two of my neighbors, should be mentioned on your video just so that everyone is aware. I love everything about it but that, if i would have heard it when i was test driving this thing(never did a reverse) i would have not purchase it.
look forward to watching this would be good to see your review of the new accord too and if you could compare them - not sure why the industry assumes people only shop within one category
One thing strikes me about the new instrument cluster on many new Hondas. They eliminated the engine temperature gauge and replaced it with an IDIOT light. Inexcusable on vehicles that are this expensive.
Great stying in and out. Very well built. It's on Hondas new global architecture which is safer. Nobody mentions it has front and passenger knee airbags on top of rear seat airbags. Why keep harping over screen size and big roofs. Honda simplified the design when others are making designs complicated. If I want to keep a vehicle for 10 years with minimum amount of money spent on fixing items I will take the Honda. While not perfect their engineering speaks for itself
Everything is great but Honda still lacks the equipment they can do: 1- The entertainment screen is too small, so it should be 12 inches large and overflowing. 2- Why is there no information displayed on the Hud steering wheel. 3- Why is there no 360 . camera 4-Why is there no 7-seater version?
Honda doesn’t change the body style. They look the same to me since the 2013 body style. It was time for me to upgrade my 2013 CR-V, but this time I went to a Toyota RAV-4 Hybrid and I love it!!! Sorry Honda, you need to start changing the body style on your cars, same thing goes for the Accord
@@Anyone553 then you haven’t seen it. Looks completely different from the side and front. The backside lights are fairly similar. But no they don’t look the same
En segundo 45 ustedes pueden ver la parrilla bien sencilla para lo bonito que se ve la crv el emblema de la H de honda está bien sencillo por lo menos lo hubieran diseñado más bonito con led.
Oh my the Canadian versions are much better. The sport price changes over to a cheaper usd price. Granted, the US has only sport hybrid and sport hybrid touring.
Nice solid family vehicle but Honda is skimping on features compared to their Korean or Toyota rivals. And the styling is so so and nothing special. Exterior and interior styling feel dated already for 2023 vehicle. Honda drops the ball here.
Design wise is very boring. It looks like no thought was really put into designing this vehicle exterior wise. Also, that pricing is I’ll be nice not good. This is why the competition is taking sales away from Honda.
Mitsubishi Outlander is much more better than Honda CR-V, both are CVT transmission but if you compare with between Mitsubishi Outlander and Honda CR-V then Mitsubishi Outlander 2023 is the best 👉💯 because Honda CR-V is the ugly looking car both exterior and interior but on the other side Mitsubishi Outlander is Smart beautiful looking car both exterior and interior, but both are reliable also
