A family member of mine bought one just like this. In my opinion it’s very basic. I am so happy with my 2023 Mazda CX-50 Preferred Plus. I feel bad because every time he sees my car, I sense a little regret in his purchase. The Honda C-RV IS a good car, but definitely not regretting my purchase!❤🚗
As a technician in order to make the CRV, Civic and the Accord last longer you must use the new GF6 oil design for GDI turbo charge engines and change the oil every 5000 miles no exceptions. Second never use the Auto on/off feature because it will destroy the engine and wear it out faster due to lack of lubrication from the oil pump with the Auto on/of feature.
@@tonypantoja2193 The EXL trim with the 1.5 litter with GDI turbo charger is the one that requires GF6 oil the naturally aspirated ones with out last the GDI turbo charger ones overtime.
I’ve read about the GF6 oil for turbo Hondas, is it something you have to ask for while getting your Honda serviced at dealerships? Or do they automatically use it? Any up charge also?
I recently purchased a 2023 Honda C-RV EX and I love it. Very comfortable ride, but I have one issue with it. I don't like that they don't have a CD player and when I use my phone, Android, to play music, the music cuts off and then comes back on after some minutes down the road, and then goes off again. I then put music on a USB thumb drive and it would not play in the car. I get an error message saying the USB is not compatible. Which USB thumb drives are compatible for the 2023 Honda C-RV EX?
Did you add blind spot monitoring? I wouldn't buy car without this feature and non-hybrid CRV, even EX doesn't have it standard and it's option only ($550.)
This vs. the new Rogue? Both 1.5t and CVT. Which do you prefer and why? (Fiancé's 2022 Tucson lease is almost up -- not making that mistake again -- has broken down and left her stranded twice...)
Me personally I would put her in the CR-V I have one and absolutely love it. Mine is a 20. I have 2 months left in my lease and I’m trading mine in for a 23. I hated the rogue when my mom had one. It ran loud and was kind of rough but hers was the model before the redesign. So they could’ve fixed that issue. My CR V is super quiet and runs PERFECTLY!!! Idk how many times I question if my car is on or not!! It also isn’t a gas guzzler I get great mileage.
Doesn’t look like it - looks like they did like they did with the Civic and took away SiriusXM from the EX trim. I almost test drove a Civic EX when the new ones came out, until I found out it doesn’t have SiriusXM. 😂
I would say regarding the fuel; it’s less if you use premium and more that you’re using a top tier station. This car will last much longer on 87 from QT/Exxon/Shell than it would on premium from Sheetz
Same. I've read/heard that its a little noisier than some other crossovers in this class. That's a typical Honda thing though - their vehicles are often noisier than the competition.
Honda dropped the LX, trim level, in the CRV?? Honda keeps the LX trim level in the Accord,Civic,HRV, even the new Pliot has a entry level LX . Strange??? Honda w their aggressive price hikes,have left some consumers looking elsewhere.
UF1 11 minutes ago Let's see, things not on the crv that the competition offers: 1. Heads up display 2. 360 camera 3. Cooled seats 4. Panoramic roof And where the honda engineers placed the backseat reclining lever is just plain stupid! I test drove this vehicle yesterday, overall nice honda quality but the lack of options will lose them piles of sales to the competition

It has been downgraded from the last generation. For example, the current display is only half LC, and half meter, weird. The previous version wheel design look way better.
