hi TJM, great stuff here... hey, do you know if the Elantra SEL 2023 w/conv has the wiring harness to be able to install aftermarket passenger and driver side view mirror blinkers ? and if so, do you have any recommendations, part num etc ?
I just got one of these. I find that the delay when changing screens or using the app features a little irritating, but you can't beat the warranty with this car.
Very nicely done... I have the all black 2023 SEL Elantra and look forward to your next videos. We joked at the dealership about the wall on the passenger seal and one of the salesman suggested it was to prevent people from having sex in the front seat. Personally I see no value but it's there so I will live with it.
I got a 2022 Elantra SEL with Convenience and Premium packages and it came standard with the large tail light bar. Also has WIRELESS Android Auto / Apple Carplay

I just went to the dealership and basically got this car but in gray. I didn't get that much of a chance to check out all of the specs in the dealership but I was wondering if there were any interior ambient lights for this trim level.

This car does have the sensor for the door to unlock, it’s now on the limited trim only, but for 2022, it was on the SEL premium and limited, since there is no longer SEL premium, it’s only on the limited now.
What was your deal? Did you have a trade in.. a lot of money down? What was cost out the door paypent per month and insurance? Thx getting this or the limited the first one that becomes available!
Yeah, I just searched it on eBay and was able to find the badges I needed. Great purchase. Now, I want to take off the Elantra part and just leave the badge in the back.
Got the SEL IVT in Electric Shadow on order now, ExCited!!!! The side rail is neat to me, not needed, but neat. Really, the comfort of the driver is more important than tha passenger, so that would not be a reason for me to ask if I should buy it 🤔. J/S
bro i just got the same elantra sel convenience in phantom black but my interior is gray. hope you share all the stuff you do with this so i can see if i need to tweak some to mine too! if you mind can you share where you got the blacked out logos?
water spots are the minerals in your water might just want to take it to a detailer but im def getting this next week i was looking at the honda civic hatch back and i the honda is a bit more pricey and there is a waiting list and well hurricane ian took out my honda so i need a car now and this looks like it .
I thought this was the same model and colour to my '21 Preferred. My paint though is not metallic - black gloss. To dry it I take a pre-wetted micro (they repel water almost until wet) and a dry .. cloth - soft thin like a sunglass cleaner material. Go over with the microfiber, and before the car can totally dry I lightly buff with that dry cloth. I always said silly people buy black cars, and it was not even on my choice list; but they only had 2 black and 2 reds and at the last moment - was not 100% fan on the grill or black wheels and - I thought it just looks tighter in black. Did you paint the logos? They do look almost odd in chrome. Yours has WAY more content - I wanted the easier to read digital dash but back then it was a $2500! upcharge on the top model.
I don't get the point of that stupid divider between the passenger seat and center console. I know my wife looked at it and she said from the passenger side, you have to be careful if you have coffee or something because that thing could end up being an issue. I know Hyundai was being stylish but they could have left that out.
I wish you could've looked at the features of this elantra in other countries such as my country (Saudi Arabia). Even the most standard trim got 4 parking sensors on the back and front too! The trim that comes after the standard comes with LED Lights on the back and front and I really wish you could've ordered your elantra from Saudi Arabia to enjoy alot of features with ridiculous low price.
It's not. The regular has an 8 inch touch screen with wireless Android auto/carplay. The convenience package has a 10.something inch screen with wired Android auto/carplay
I have a 2023 elentra with halogen, I can't see anything during night time, I closed all the light and it was the same level of luminosity with DLR than Night light
I have a 2022 Elantra SEL Premium with the convenience package and mine has Forward Collision warning but thats about all it has for the front censors, unless you want to count the lane keep assist which I would assume all these are on the 2023 model. But again my car has alot more features it seems than this one.
