It feels like Nostalgia, but it’s new content!! Having Chris Harris produce his own content again feels great! Him and Neil are a dream team and we are lucky to have them back on our screens. It’s been too long and I’m sure we can all agree that they were missed!
First video I ever watched of CH was the Aston Martin video where it starts with Chris in the gym working out his left leg. I was hooked. I watched every single CHOC video I could find. Years later and in my mid 30s, watching this makes me somewhat emotional. It’s like I’m in my 20s again broke and in college dreaming about cars. Way to make us feel, Monkey. We need more of this in the world. Cheers, mate!
I'm commenting on this because I know from your sit down on JRE you read comments. You were the BEST thing on TG 2.0 and I'm so glad to have you back on CHOC! Welcome home!
I was worried at first because if Chris Harris thinks the breakaway is “too sudden” imagine normal people 😅 Beautiful car. It’s like we’re back in the golden age!
BBC please consider a show just with Chris, not only showing us driving video but going inside to interview the engineers from the car companies. Chris has a wonderful way of connecting with the engineers and you can tell they respect him in return.
You do realise its next-to impossible for a show like that to make any financial sense for something like the BBC? Chris is only marketable to those that are already well-aware of who is he and what hes best at. and thats not as many people as you'd hope. The BBC would want high viewing figures for 1/20 the production cost of TG. Id also love such a show, but "BBC's CHOC" would be resigned to iplayer only after one season because only his existing audience would watch. sorry to be a downer but I just think us fans of Chris and old TG etc get a little carried away/underestimate just how niche our love for cars/motoring truly is.
I asked AI to do a review in the styles of Catchpole, Harris and Clarkson for some hyperbole. I gave it the fundamentals of the car. The output was a great deal of fun, and spookily convincing. Is a steak pie better than a chocolate brownie? Is Chris better than Henry. I think that I'll have them both!
Good to see you, Monkey! I’m 53 and borderline obsessed with cars. I reckon Astons have nearly always been posh hot rods - the smaller ones at least. This Vantage is such a good looking car, those rear haunches are perfect. I’ll never have one of these, but my goodness I’d love to… Good vid as always mate.
A Chris Harris car analysis is poles apart from most of the other car sites. His understanding and passion for cars puts him in a different stratosphere. Looking forward to many more car reviews!
this video makes me forget about all the other car content. no effects no bullshit. chris harris driving, talking and its shot from right angles. thats all we need. thank you sir.
So good to see car reviews again thank you. To the point on looks, power and interior, it will sell the first car, but you will keep switching brands until the chassis works for you. Then you end up buying from the same manufacturer until they mess up the chassis!
Given I've been on a recent rewatch of your old content, I was in complete shock for 2 seconds when I saw the title, thumbnail, and more than anything, the length. We are so back!
Is that Neil on the camera again? Phenomenal angles and editing from that guy. And praise the lords for some CH long form content again, without it being dumbed down. MORE. Go visit Ferrari and Lamborghini, they have so much exciting stuff incoming
So nostalgic yet once again refreshing to see Chris doing what he does best and reviewing cars the way he wants to . EVER since CHRISHonCars has been MIA . Watching old videos was the next best thing ! Watching other channels reviews is like I’m reading from a magazine or being read an article …on the other hand a video from ChrisH feels more like a mate taking you on a joyride in his New (in this case )Aston Martin … Sadly there’s not many actual OG magazine editors who does RU-vid videos full /part time left .. ppl like Chris H & Steve Sutcliffe etc.. seeing a new video from them is like receiving your bonus at the end of the year:- Rarely happens but when it does your over the moon …! So once again if CHRIS turns back on PATREON … to have Chris-on cars back even a few 2-3 vidoes a month .. I for one are happy to donate again! Cheers CHRIS
Sneeze. I rewound that a handful of times. Watching the Master at work! Also the handshake after six axis accelerometer. Love it. very balanced and convincing journalism for a rad car.
The return of the king! Good to have you back Chris, being missing this type of automotive journalism. Now the only thing we need is a joint video of you and Henry Catchpole 👌
Brother, i remember sending you a message congratulating you when top gear rumors started swirling. Im glad for your success on TG but man this is where you belong. It shows, your back in your rhythm. We love you brother, welcome back!!!
He’s back! 🎉 You’ve got a winning automotive formula here. Journalist. Racing driver. Awesome personal vehicles and nerdy passion. 7-8 years ago RU-vid wasn’t the place for it. Now it is. Enjoy mate
Bbc pay attention... when TopGear comes back this is how it should be. The jokes/messing about is done with. Welcome back Chris! You are you're own brand & you're in charge of you're own destiny when yoire producing you're own content.
Good to have you back Chris! Now do us all a favor and grab yourself a nice Manual Camaro ZL1/1LE around a test track. As someone who loves the Z/28 - I'm sure you will love it even more! Just make sure the darn thing is dialed on track camber and SEND IT!
No matter the model, almost entirely, Aston's are and always have been beautiful automobiles. This one somehow even more so. Gorgeous. And still somehow Chris doesn't get outshined by it in the video, amazing, considering the co-star. Thanks Chris, glad you are doing reviews again, we all missed you. Please continue.
