Really great in depth video. I appreciate you going through every button and display. A lot of people tend to skip over certain areas, which can be frustrating.
I'm waiting for my 2023 Tucson to come in (November). I've been watching many videos, but this was by far the most useful. Thank you so much for going through all the infotainment settings. That was going to be very daunting, but after watching this, it seems very intuitive. Great video!!!
I really, really appreciate this video. I just bought a Tucson last night and was so fatigued by the end of all the purchase stuff that I had no energy to really explore the vehicle. I feel like I am better armed to get in there and do that today. And I am saving this video for future reference. Also, it's very helpful to know I can easily browse the owner's manual with a simple QR code. Side note: My 2023 does have the wireless charger feature. I'm in the US.
Congrats! I also bought a new Tucson yesterday. It’s a beautiful SUV. It has so many cool features, but felt overwhelmed by it all, especially after having a 2007 Tucson.
I overlooked the most important item. Your videos are so very useful! I’m waiting on delivery on a 2023 Tucson limited hyprid…and I’m so excited. Thank you for helping novices like myself understand the bells and whistles on this exciting car!
They're not much different then a typical sedan. Plus the side mirrors also have the signals on them too. So far, while many people have mentioned it, there doesn't seem to be any additional risk of accident.
I drove behind it for 3 hours and the blinkers are so bright and obvious that anyone who does not noticed it is either not paying attention or is following so close that their front bumper is on your rear bumper. Has zero effect on driver safety.
Great video. Quick question, does the limited trim have the Ambien light that goes straight a crossed the dash? I've seen it in one other video but most of the videos ive seen only have it in the door and the lower center part. thank you. i must say, your videos are very informative. thank you.
I owned five Hyundais dating back to 1987 I still have two a 2011 sonata with 209,000 miles on it and a 2018 Santa Fe limited with 29,000 miles on it on sat I purchased a 2023 tuscon at Lester Glenn in Toms River nj nothing beats Hyundai s warranty which is why all I buy are Hyundais
I take it this is a Canadian only trim level. One very important fact that needs better coverage. The engine is direct injected but also has multi-port injection; it's a GDI as well as a MPI engine. Important fact to keep the intake valves clean as possible over the duration of the engine's life.
Excellent informative video! Convinced me to go for the trend package. What exterior colour did you review in this video? Is it the deep blue sea or the black?
@@edsgarage001 I totally understand about no stock as soon as you got a 2022 or 2023 hyundai tucson n line I would love to see the n line step by step on all the features of the tucson n line thank you keep up the great work I love the videos especially the detail on features
Thanks for the review of the hyundai tucson in the perfered trend i was wondering how much horsepower is the trend perfered and does hyundai tucson does come with the same engine in all trims and how about the tucson hybrid
187hp with a 2.5L engine in all trims except the hybrids 227hp in the hybrids from a turbo 1.6L plus electric motor 261hp in the phevs from a turbo 1.6 plus larger electric motor
Thanks for the information I was wondering does the black hyundai logo on a grill is like that in a factory and does the black hyundai logo on a grill is on the n line and a hybrid for the tucson
I'm not sure what you mean by "experience" It's different software, so it doesn't have built in navigation.. however, the smaller screen does have wireless Android auto/carplay. Plus it's got volume and tuning knobs. It's just as sensitive and easy to use, and it's also non polarized. Hope that helps.
I’m confused about the spare tire. Your earlier Tucson (2022) showed no real tire…instead a ‘blow up’ kit. This video showed a spare tire. Please explain
Thanks for the comment. There's many different trim levels of Tucson. In Canada, we have: Essential Preferred Preferred w/trend Urban N-Line Luxury Hybrid Ultimate hybrid Luxury phev Ultimate phev Some have spares, some have kits... Also, I don't know which 2022 Tucson video you're referring to, but Hyundai will also make changes year over year.
oh i have 2023 Hyundai when i used to back up and used to beep and let me know if a person os coming or another car coming what can i do? I haven no sensor in my bumper but i have sensors on my side that what i understand
is it really preferred with trend? because upon checking on website it suppose to have wireless charging pad and Dark chrome exterior trims, front grille, bumper trims, mirror base
Are you in USA or Canada? I'm in Canada, and our trims are a bit different. Also, the 23 changed a bit from the 22. But this one DOES have the dark Chrome... But yes, it most definitely is a Trend.
I'm from Canada. I checked it on hyundai canada site. I tried to build it by selecting tucson essential and add up trend package so what do you mean is this video is trend trim only?
From what I can see, there are no gas model trim packages that include power tailgate, heated rear seats, or ventilated front seats. You have to upgrade to hybrid. This is very frustrating. My 2012 SUV even has a power tailgate. I'd get hybrid, but I imagine the wait time is very high. Surprised something as basic as power tailgate is not available with gas. Or am I wrong?
You're not wrong, and you're right it is frustrating. But unfortunately we weren't in this shortage pickle when the redesign was rolled out, so there was no way of knowing this would happen. Now in order to go back, Hyundai would need to change a lot, which would just cost too much at this point.
You are right Dave! I didn't notice the lack of a power tailgate when buying the car, it borders me a lot when camping. The wireless apple car play and bluelink app are not the best as well, I have been experiencing problems a lot with them during these 8 months I have the car.
Google: 2023 Hyundai Tucson Dimensions and Style The current lineup offers 146.9 cubic feet of total interior volume and 108.2 cubic feet of total passenger room. When the rear seats are up, you'll have 41.2 cubic feet of trunk room with up to 80.3 cubic feet of total trunk area when the rear seats are folded down.
On the manual lift gate, a button wouldn't do anything as it's a liftgate, not a trunk. So you just walk up and open it using the button on the bottom of the rear hatch. On the power liftgate models, there's a button inside the car and on the keyfob
With so many features with preferred trend model, not having a power liftgate button is annoying. Neither they have a button to open trunk from inside. They could have easily provided this feature as even basic sedans these days have power liftgate button on thier remote. Also removing the wireless charger made no sense.
With a tailgate, an interior button is pointless unless the tailgate is powered. If you want a power tailgate, that's available in the luxury and ultimate trims. There's always going to be less features in the lower priced models, this is nothing new.
I bought a 2023 Tucson on Feb 02, 2024. I have an issue with the fuel consumption. I noticed average of the gas meter is increasing very rapidly when the car is at rest and the engine is on. I turned off the AC and the average usage kept increasing rapidly. Does anyone else have a fuel consumption issue.
This is normal.... The average consumption is "amount of fuel used vs distance traveled" If you're just sitting there, not traveling any distance, just burning fuel, then that number is going to go up. This is 100% normal behavior for any vehicle.
@@illuminatidinesh1 orders are still expected to take about a year or more. If you're not already on a wait-list, i suggest calling your dealer and getting on one.
@@Excelmyexcel back then the wait was around a year too... So I'd guess you'll get it first quarter of 2023. But guys, this is just an educated guess to be completely honest. The market is in constant flux.
I know my opinion could be viewed as biased.... But in all honesty, the Tucson really is the better option compared to the CR-V. Most reviewers agree. Honda unfortunately has dropped on the quality/reliability ratings as well over the last few years. Still great cars though, not disputing that. Thank you for the comment!
No, that's not entirely correct. Remote start on the key fob will always work and doesn't require a subscription (it's not a Toyota lol) However remote start from a cell phone, that would require blue link. And it only cost money after the first 3 years which is free. At least in Canada. Remote start through telematics/cell phone on pretty much any brand name only comes with subscription.
I came back here to share that I just got my first big...HUGE disappointment. Only 927 miles on my 2023 Tucson and it wouldn't start this evening. The roadside assistance was able to jumpstart it but something internally is draining the battery. I don't have time for this - this is why I bought a brand new car. Hoping the service department lives up to their hype. I've gotten BlueLink battery drain alerts before but they went away and never resulted in me being stuck. At that time, they said it was the "cold weather" but this doesn't seem normal, especially not for a brand new vehicle. So disappointed. PS. There was no sign of any lights or accessories being left on.
Sorry to hear about your trouble.. I'm sure they'll find it's a simple issue. If it makes you feel any better, we haven't seen that as a common issue at all. Best of luck!
@@edsgarage001 Thank you! I could use the good luck and well wishes right now. It's not a good feeling even if it's uncommon, feels like just my luck. So I'll take your good wishes to heart and say thank you again.
Hyundai I am woken almost nightly by the HONK LOCK on your vehicles PLEASE TURN DOWN THE VOLUME!!!! There is no need for LOUD to notify drivers that there cars are locked. A Super soft electronic beep can do that and not wake people or stress them out Please … think of our communities wellbeing.
Actually 99% of Hyundai's currently only have a very soft sounding beep when locked. Any units with proximity entry have the very quite beep. Only the very base models still have a horn beep when locking, but it's also only if hitting the lock button twice that it makes that honk.
Gee thanks lol 😆😂😆... My videos have helped many people, and are meant to be informative, not flashy. However, I'm not completely devoid of humor... Check out this video, lemme know what you think: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OeZpFyytBnY.html
