Your videos have been incredibly helpful throughout 2023 and have taken my mountain biking to the next level with all of the product reviews and install videos. Looking forward to whats to come in 2024
Thanks for all the content 🤘 My 2023, started w/ a hiss and a roar in Whakarewarewa Forest 😎 (spent a week, 5 days riding there). I bought a GT Force Amp+ e-mtb. I mullet'd it out & ride it as my daily driver now. Sold a couple of bikes (N-1!?) aka streamlining the fleet. I raced a gnarly Enduro race and survived!! Took my youngest to his first bike Park (he crashed 1st lap, but he ended up having a ball). For 2024, maybe a full bike Park day for my two children. A trip to top of South Island... highlight = riding Wairoa Gorge 🤙 Selling a bike or bike parts to fund a couple small projects (e-mtb needs more powerful brakes [XT, DHR-Evo or similar], Park bike to get 35mm handlebars & stem, ride Glendhu bike park on my Eeb, maybe get back to Rotorua at end of the year, ride w/ my mates and kids as much as I can 👌
Thanks for all the really cool, informative and entertaining videos you make!!! Have good, healthy and fun 2024!!! My highlight (apart from tinkering with my XC hardtail and my trail bike) were I've had a really fun trip to the alps and I took over my dads old road bike (as I started road riding) and did a rebuild of that bike which was really fun and the bike turned out great!!! And for 2024 I will get a Giant Trance 1 which I will tinker with over time an ride it as a sort of non racing XC touring bike...
Really nice to watch videos of yours as someone who is relatable and actually loves the sport of mountain biking. Also really great to see you at the Hardwood 8 hour in September and you seem like a cool dude. Keep it up and happy new year!
Love your videos. Keep them coming. I bought a 2023 Sage Powerline titanium hardtail frame and built it up to custom spec for trail riding. All the best for 2024!
Love, love your videos. Keep them coming for 2024! The gear reviews are my favorites! I have a '22 Ripley with XT and AL DT Swiss wheels based on you r review of Elite Wheels, I may take a serious look at those for 2024.
You have really (really!) helped me up my maintenance skills on my bike and your videos are always thorough, clear and easy to follow. Thank you SO much for all the hard work you put to keep us all informed and excited to ride our MTBs! Happy New Year!
on Jan 2nd my new pole Voima will arrive!! I have been waiting scence end of October. i likeyour chanel very much !looking forward to your new vidios in 2024 happy NEW YEAR
Great content and can’t wait to see what you have lined up for 2024🎉! That new sram transmission is getting more and more appealing to me! Maybe this is the year I dive in!
The new bike us the 2023 Santa Cruz Blur in Sea Foam color. I have the same 🤷🏻♂️🥴🤭👍🏻. Is awesome bike, capable, light, fast climb well and strong !!!!
I got a sic deal on a new Revel Rail 29 over Thanksgiving week. I planned on selling my short travel bike, but after getting nothing but lowball offers I decided to keep it and take advantage of the awesome deals on new and used parts out there. I'll upgrading suspension, cranks, and wheels/tires to lighten it up and also make it ride better with more suspension adjustability.
Just got 2 lightly used bikes to replace my mid-late teens bikes. Need to sell my '18 Hightower. Gonna be rocking a Canfield N9 and a '21 Hightower moving forward. Starting this next month gonna start some road training miles to try to get out and use my bikes more this summer. More quick tech rides and try to get in at least 2 travel trips locally. Maybe Sun Valley and Bend.
Thanks for your videos man, here’s to many more years! My plans for 2024 are quite crazy: sell my beloved custom steel hardtail (Panorama Taïga) to upgrade to a titanium fatbike (Panorama Torngat Ti, which has a narrow Q-Factor and rear spacing) for which I’ll gather parts to sort of replicate my hardtail in the summer. All in the name of there’s no room in this house for a new bike since there’s now a toddler running around! Of direct interest to you: the (amazing) Pirelli Scorpion XC RC 2.4s are sold with the hardtail, I’ll pick up another when they make them in 2.6. Meanwhile, for the new 29+ wheelset, I’ll try some Scorpion Trail M front and H back, in 2.6. What do you think? 😊 Cheers from Montreal!
Thank You for all this work ;) I'm planning to buy a new full power aluminum E-bike with Bosh or Brose motor(It would be nice if you also posted Ebiki reviews ;)), and maybe I'll also buy Epic Evo if the prices drop further, although I don't like carbon frames.
Whatever happened to that new TRP drivetrain? They announced it coincident with Transmission, and it just faded into obscurity. Maybe it’s just irrelevant now that supplies of GX & XO1 are “normal” again…
Unfortunately MTB is going the way of Road bikes and becoming way too expensive. Carbon and electronic shifting, give me a break. I'll stick to my steel frame, mechanical shifting bike.
