Thank you for the transcript information! I never dig too deep into that feature because I didn’t know what to do. I tried filing electronically this year, but got rejected due to an incorrect AGI. So I just used that transcript feature and found my AGI (I was off by $1) and resubmitted electronically! Coincidentally, I filled out my dependent’s name wrong, so I corrected that as well (just a stupid mistake). I read that my original return would be rejected outright, so I am hoping that this electronic return gets processed appropriately.
e-filed my 2021 return on 02/07/2022. NOTHING has changed on my transcript since late April 2022. No refund. I am owed over $2000. Where's my refund site has no changes, "still processing". I'm getting ready to get a lawyer involved.
Still waiting for my 2021 refund It's been over 100 days that was the time frame the IRS said they needed still no word from them, transcript updates one day and changes the next I will be calling the IRS first thing in the morning but on a brighter note I got my 2022 refund in about 7 days from filing, Isn't that something? Finally after filing 1/30 (my transcripts saying n/a for almost the entire time) and verifying last week I have a DDD of 3/8. Thank God this nightmare is over. This channel has been so helpful thanks again my friend
I filed Feb 9th , got my state back , waiting for federal , I owe nothing , wonder how long it will take b4 it comes in on a card ..!! Hopefully b4 summer or Christmas lol
Did you get a verification letter? I called irs recently cause I filed 2-2 and it was more than 3 weeks since I filed & they said oh we're sending you a verification letter and you need to follow what it says. I'm still waiting on letter, but will take care of it on website and hopefully be done with this b.s. I have been filing on TurboTax for a long time and no issues, but this year they wanna be a pain in my ass. Like you said it's a joke. Smh
Nothing even shows up, it doesn't say anything new. Only shows 2021, I called and there was no additional information available. All they said was there is delays.
Got last 1099B & 1099Div on 2/23 , had rest of it all done, plugged in and filed 2/24 and accepted that afternoon, refund today already?!?!?!? New record I can’t believe it
So just a quick update. I finally got my 2022 tax return on Feb 28th. Now I'm waiting for my state to come in. It was processing first, then it changed and said they may need some more information to process that. Which I wasn't expecting. As far as the amended, I'm not holding my breath until that comes as I know I'll be waiting awhile. Hopefully it's before the summer 😂

And I filled jan 23 accepted than sent a letter to verify 2-8 I did. said to wait 2-3 weeks for an update to wmr it went from still processing to processing a week ago no new update
Recently I called IRS cause it had been over 21 days since I filed, and then they said they were sending me a verification letter and I'm like I've been filing my taxes on TurboTax for many years and no issues, but this tax season they need to verify me although I would think doing on TurboTax all those years would be great for verification. Now I'm waiting for a damn IRS verification letter and then will have to do whatever letter says(I'm gonna take care of online) & then will have to wait longer after I do that for a refund. Is it me or does the IRS seem worse this year on people and their taxes. It's B.S. imo I got my state refund quickly this year and it's usually other way around.
@Adreanna Faison how was the process online? Was it easy to get through? Also I already have ID me cause I'm in VA system, but wish letter was here already so I can get it done. Seems to take a while for letter to get to people.
I would start the verification process by going on line to Id me. They are going to ask you some question on one of the question is going to ask you for a code that would be on the letter.. if you haven't received the letter. Click no and they will send you one
Is difficult to wait for your taxes for a month then with that letter verification and still wait for nine more weeks . How they select people to verify there information this is my 4 year in a row irs sending me that verification letter
File last tax season. Earned income credit went to froze account then to credit to the account and transcript suck on Nov 16.2022. Jan. 26 got a latter saying increase for the year I never received anything.. l verify my ID 8-26-2022 the freeze on my account 8-16-2022
No letters, no updates in transcripts, WMR still being processed! Self Employed, EITC, filed the same way I always do. It is now the 11th of March. I filed on Jan. 30th.
It is unbelievable that refunds are going out for 2022 when I have been waiting 11 months after filing for 2021. I may end up filing for 2022 before the IRS ever gets to my 2021 return! 😂

I filled mines electronically on Feb 7 and it’s still on refund accepted and in the button that a date will be issue when available. I thought I will have it by now just because I made a mistake on my AGI numbers but was able to correct it. Anyone can relate & give me any updates & how much longer I have to wait. Thanks
Hey my wife did her taxes and got but not her eitc or ctc like which is the child tax credit she did her taxes through TurboTax I receive only partial what she was going to receive through her original gross. Was she earned without the child tax credit and it said that she was approved to get it with the full amount I do not understand what’s going on. Please help us get more information on this so that I can help ease her and our family as we continue to go through increasing prices
Desperate for answers on my 2021 return! I'm in the dark here with my return and I've tried everything to retrieve information. I filed last year in July for my 2021 refund, it was accepted by the IRS . I then had to go through an ID verification process through video chat with ID me, and was successful with that too, Id was verified and with confirmation. I waited a while before checking(probaby a couple weeks) before I finally decided to check the "where's my refund" refund trace and when I did.. it read "We have received your return and it is being processed" . I checked just last night and it still says this! I have not received any notices either. Please help!
Only thing I have access to is my account transcript and its blank with a code that read as of: mar 13 2023 changed to :mar 20 2023 which is stupid no deductions etc.
