Hello, I had the same issue with the 2020 tax return. Has been almost a year, it was accepted on April 2021 and I haven’t received my return. I try calling but the system directs me to same kind system as “where is my refund” but by phone. Today I tried to access again and it said that the information that I was entering to check the status is incorrect… any advice on this?

You can also look on your acct or create a acct. On ire website it will show recent taxes .and stimulus info aswell

I filed electronically on Tax Day July 15th this year, I am still waiting for an update on my federal (now Oct. 8). I've never missed paying my taxes and I've never not paid or left an open balance from prior years.

I filed my taxes by paper in March. Received a letter in September from the IRS telling me that I failed to file a schedule D. I wrote back a week later to the IRS telling them that I was not required to file a schedule D since the only capital gains I had were from Mutual Fund entities which gave me a 1099 -DIV. I even sent them a copy of the 1099-DIV along with a copy of same instructions. It is very frustrating to wait so long for a refund and have it excessively delayed because of a mistake on their part. Worst government agency in the U.S.

Filed paper return on Feb 24th. Aug 27th got a letter telling they needed additional docs(which I already had sent on Feb 24th) Not able to reach them since then. Online just says processing

They tell you that you have to speak to an agent in order to prove your identity, but they make it so damn hard for you to reach anybody

My refund hasn’t been processed at all. The paperwork was sent to them all the way back in July 17th. They keep saying that due to the current pandemic, processing tax returns will be delayed. I’m a 21 year old 4th year college student and my refund is called “federal student return” this is my second time requesting it. Last year I received my refund in a month, nothing compared to this. Which is sad since I was counting with those funds to help my family during this difficult times and I had to pay $60 to the accountant who filled my return.

Something is going on right now because many people filled Feb 12th and don't have their refund yet. It's been 21 days and no transcript for me to view. I don't owe prior tax and can't get thru on the phone . I'm referring to 2020 taxes in 2021.

We filed ours online through hr block and then got a letter stating we missed something so hr block had me send the one piece needed by certified mail and this was back in March and we filed in February. Still nothing just says still processing

I need help. I was claimed as an adult dependant in 2019. But, in 2020 I was not claimed and I also filed the non filer and I'm on SSI. When I filled out the mon filer it said I qualified for $1,800. This was right before the president signed the third stimulus package. I'm lost

@@susanmora6050 No and it’s been now a YEAR and no return or second stimulus check. Now the site is saying my information is wrong. I’ve been putting my same information in for a whole YEAR and now it’s WRONG, WTF??? Tried to call and they will not let you in. I was told you have to call for something else, because if it’s concerning your tax refund it will tell you to wait and kick you out and that is very true. I’m going to try my local office to see if I could get an appointment. This is now the next tax season and I know I will run into some serious problems. They owe me a lot of money and I want my refund.

Yes, I E filed my return and the IRS accepted it on 02/22/21. It was for the first and second stimulus payment. I still haven't received my refund not did I receive any notices.

I mailed my return on February 15. Today is August 24. The IRS tool now says my refund is "still being processed." I don't know how long it has said that because I completely gave up on checking the IRS tool after about 4 months of checking it and not even getting an acknowledgement of receipt. Unfortunately this video is not helpful for me at all because I cannot afford to hire a CPA or attorney to call the IRS. If I could afford that I wouldn't need my refund. As for calling them myself - I'm afraid to do that. Isn't everyone terrified of the IRS? Drawing attention to oneself could, I think, trigger an audit - and that's even worse than not getting my refund. 😭

I try to call hit 1 1 and they want me to enter my social and info if I do it says still processing then ends the call. If I don't do anything like a previous video said it ends the call

I do not agree with them having a hard time. I filed in February, same with many friends, and nothing as of yet. They somehow do this from feb. to April every year but they just can’t do it 9 months this year?

We're seeing such extreme delays with filings this year. It actually seems to be the norm if you filed in February (by paper) and it's not processed yet.

Me as well😭 ain't it funny how if you owed them money they would haul you to jail no questions they owe us money they won't even pick up the phone 😵 I looked it up to see if I can sue them for not giving me my money they said I had to wait two years to sue 😂 only evil people would sit back and knowingly not accept a phone call and knowingly not give anybody their money so that they can lose their house or their life.

A lot of the 2019 returns have delayed 2020 taxes it was expected honestly because the IRS shut down last year

Hi ,I'm new here....I filed electronically ...the timestamp says April 15th @ approximately 6pm...I received a letter from the IRS and it states my return was submitted late so therefore I did not qualify for the state refund...

So I have been waiting for my refund since the end of March I was told I needed to sent in my 1095 A form along with the irs form However when I check the where's my refund page it still says still processing. I have called numerous amounts of time and I have been told to wait 6 to 8 weeks more recently that the processing center began working as of August 1 and to wait 6 to 8 weeks from that day.

I haven't received my tax refund last year either. They kept telling me that they wanted to prove that I was who I say I was and everytime I try to check my status online oh, it says that it cannot be processed at this time. And when I try to do my taxes back in February, they kept giving me the runaround about my information being wrong but I have the same Bank information I had for 5 years. So they told me that I couldn't file electronically and I had to file through the mail. Well I did that back in April or May I think, I still haven't received my taxes and I haven't received any information from the IRS letting me know that something's wrong. This is fucking ridiculous

My refund is still processing, so I called them. Was transferred multiple times, calls dropped, and waited over 2 hrs. They have not processed my paper tax from couple years ago, which I submitted in mid March. They told me that it could be processed until November. 😤
