2023 Kia Carnival LX-Seat Package: TEST DRIVE+FULL REVIEW 

I’ve rented and tested all the minivans. Carnival has good space and good tech in higher trims. Odyssey and Pacifica are best to drive. Odyssey also has a lot of space, but can’t get ventilated seats or 360 degree camera. Sienna best for gas mileage while having decent space and features. 2023 Carnival and Odyssey have trick middle seats, giving you 8 passenger capability in almost all trims. All of them have their positives and negatives. I think a high end Carnival might be the best. But gas mileage sucks and dealers will try to screw you over with markups.

15:57 FYI you can put those third row seats down into the floor well if the headrests go down first.

That back seat does fold down flat

*Correction* If you pull the strap on the back of the seat then the seat will fold into the floor.

You DO have flat folding stow and go. You didn't do it right…

I don’t know about ride quality. The main difference you would want 17” wheels over 19” is that 17” tires are a lot cheaper, and plentiful than 19” tires. If you are in a remote area, you are more likely to find a tire at some random gas station then 19”. Also your rims are less likely to be damaged

What is the mileage per gallon on average? What size is gas tank? Is it available in AWD? Can you get navigation?

I really like the design and features even more in the EX model , my only negative is you can’t get a all black interior. I hate the two tone interiors.

It is hard to believe that is a Kia. They use to make some pretty non-descript cars in the past but this is sharp.

No AWD is a deal breaker.
