The Sherpa Motorsports Team preps their 2003 V8 4Runner for the 2023 King of the Hammers. Welcoming new sponsors and replacing old parts to get the car ready for another Ultra4 Season!
On this episode we finish up the last phases of prep, get through tech, and gear up for the race. Alex also walks us through the Every Man Challenge from the perspective of Sherpa Motorsports.

Very much enjoy your videos. Don't worry about music, last thing needed, if at all! Simplify your fuel system: 55 gallon barrel on roof secure with special built Sherpa roof rack, with gravity feed hose(s) to fuel rails.

Wasn’t the tie rod the reason that other 4th gen DNF a few years back? If so that might be a weakness in the marlin front end.

It definitely was for Steel City a while back. That has since been addressed and fixed. I’m not 100% sure but I’d venture to say the broken tie rod this year was from the added leverage of the portals. It would be the equivalent to us running 3.5-4” wheel spacers on each side.
