With the reliability of the B58 engine in the 340i, you can keep the car for well over 3 - 4 years with very little repair bills.

Buy a Lexus and drive trouble free miles. The Mercedes’ and the BMW break down right after the warranty expires and they are Expensive to repair. They use to be reliable, durable cars, but now they’re just a POS.

I'm not sure how the spec levels work around the world but here in Australia the M spec package is standard to all current models. It is just upgraded brakes, and a bit of other bling. I've been extremely happy with my 21 330i, was hanging out for the new C class to compare it against but am glad I went with the Beemer.

330 and 340 share the same interior and exterior like the c300 and c43 plus minus some amg and m badges.

Ive driven both c300 4matic and 320i xdrive, bmw still wins by a large margin in driving/handling/performance. I would say benz is more if u like your seat belt automatically tightening to your body, or a very smooth ride. Like veryyy smooth. Bmw is still smooth + the performance.

I had a 78 MB 300D. It was so durable and I drove it for just over 300K miles. But I’d buy a Lexus now for the reliability.

Mercedes had tank-like reliability in those days well before globalization led to cost-cutting and the poor build quality we have today.

I find that comparing the M340i with the C300 makes little sense. In Canada there is a $15,000 price difference between the two models. The real comparison would be between the C43 and the M340i but of course the C43 is not out yet. Also, I really don't get the point of recommending the IS which platform and powertrains have been around for 10 years or so, I just think that it's an outdated model and if you want to buy a Lexus I would much rather pick the NX or RX instead of the IS.

Also, the IS is not a good daily driver. I have couple of friends who bought it for the performance with Lexus reliability, until they realized the IS perform no much different than a Toyota Corolla and have to visit the gas stations very often compare to a Bimmer 3 or Audi A4. They end up driving their SUVs more often and leave their IS sitting in the garages most of the time

Bring back the old look of mercedes and keep the new interior, offer a NA V6 as standard, Hand crafted V6 for 43 models and V8 for AMG and Mercedes blows BMW out the water

I had new MB's for 20 yrs. They were provided by my company. All were perfectly maintained and all were very unreliable, including at least one potentially deadly steering failure. NEVER again will I have any German product. Switched to Lexus and am very happy I did.

Bring up the Lexus IS is meaningless. IS is not a good daily driver compared to Mercedes C or Bimmer 3. If you want a reliable daily driver without a hike on algeneline, just go for a Toyota Corolla. If you want a non-sport luxury car with Toyota reliability, go for Lexus ES, NX, and RX. If you buy an IS, it will most likely sit in your garage until another Lexus fan boy wants to collect it.

Hi , your assessment is wrong,we have been using C Class I our country for over 25 years now as USED out of WARRANTY vehicles. And Mercedes Benz has been GOOD, FANTASTIC is updating and upgrading of car system which we are familiar with and we enjoy maintaining and using them up to now. I have Mercedes C Class Benz 1999-2000 model,it's now we are discovering the good work, design and engineering Wonder of Mercedes Benz. We rebuild almost everything in Mercedes Benz in Nigeria. Take a trip and do an assessment in Nigeria,we will give you information that doesn't exist in Europe America where cars are used only on warranty and you barely enjoy them.

Sure, the bmw has a better drive train and performance, but are you really going to be sending that car around turns at high speed on a 35 mph street? Not really, police are just waiting for people like that. I already got a number of tickets for driving like an idiot in my early 20s. Thus, the mercedes is clearly the better choice. Comfort always beats performance.... Unless you like speeding tickets.

Hi, Your videos are really good. If I have booked a Toyota corolla Hybrid in Nov 2022 and the wait time is 12 months, say if I get the Corolla in Nov 2023. Will I be paying the same interest rate and MSRP when I booked the vehicle which is Nov 2022 or will I be paying the new interest rate and MSRP at the time of taking the delivery which is Nov 2023? Thank you

You will pay the interest rate at the time of delivery. If the MSRP of the Corolla increases, the dealer might amend your deal for this price change. Otherwise your deal shouldn't change.

I had a 3 series, drive a 5 series now, loved both cars, my car is coming up to 10 yrs. old, not too many problems yet, so will go with a M340i for my next car unless I can find a C43 which ticks all my boxes.

Honestly dont even bother getting the new c34 the previous gen has a V6 and although its a tad bit slower than the m340i the exhaust note is amazing. Just get a simple tune and you’ll be back up in m340i territory

Guy literally says the Lexus IS. As someone who was in automotive tool & die for almost 20 years, that car is complete outdated crap. Driving a glorified, hungrier at the tank Corolla. As a daily driver it’s completely awful. Failed to mention that BMW is now rated top 3 in reliability. Mercedes continues to push technical innovation(problems will continue to arise). You can own and keep both of these brands long term if you maintain and take care of them. Sadly, most of this lot do not.

Lexus 8n this class segment does not really carry the prestigious badge in Malaysia, even though reliability is there . To chose BMW and Mercedes is a matter of individual taste .
