Mg Hector is best... No doubt about it

Hector has more advance features, a luxurious interior, and a premium look. I would love to go for it.

I like the fact Mahindra kept the physical buttons for basic functions. I hate the idea of scrolling through a LCD screen just to adjust air con or volume control. Especially whilst driving.

Yes xuv700 wins in 3rd row space by keeping 2nd row at 90 degree and sliding 2nd row of hector plus to way back 👏👏👏👏

I read comments very often about indicators turning on by simple turning of steering But the proper alert drivers might understand that on freeways, highways it is compulsory to "turn on" indicators while "switching lanes" to be safe . Also it is not that much of problem in city traffic too. Still i feel Hector shd have provided on off option for auto indicators.

Indicators and auto unlock key features are all available for optimization. They can be turned off easily from screen

I will say one thing that we need performance and that thing can do only xuv700 in this segment ❤️

The MG Hector has a spacious and comfortable cabin, making it perfect for long journeys and family trips.

MG is way ahead of its time by introducing the lane change indicator function so much so that people are not used to having lane change indications. Maybe in future when most cars are ADAS compliant. People will love it as it'll save people you while you randomly decide to change lanes.

Paying 24 lacs for A7 and you are still missing a lot of features like ventilated seats, ambient light, wireless charging, drive modes, Electronic parking brakes auto hold, lights on vanity, electric powered tail gate and list goes on plus they stopped the floating indicator feature.. People will feel cheated when two XUV owners will compare.. FYI guys past A5 has that and present A7 doesn’t.. I don’t even know how many more changes have been done.. This feels fishy and something unreliable from mahindra.. Think about it..

I found hector more premium. Over xuv 700 and mahindra service is not upto mark.

@autoX why I feel its a biased review.. I am 6 feet tall and have experienced both car's 3rd row myself.. Hectors second row is adjustable and makes huge space in 3rd row adjusting 1st and 2nd row (for a 6 feeter)... what you showed is completely fake in that sense.. I think need to unfollow you guys..

MG hector build quality, have been using hector plus since 2021.

If MG Hector also have 4WD option then that will be the best! Without that also it seems the better value option for comfort, features and safety

Good decent review. Pls listen to your videos before uploading. The sound quality is so poor and inconsistent. Whenever the reviewer speaks, it seems like a silent whisper and suddenly blaring background score coming in between. This makes the experience quite unpleasant. Though the review is good better than some other channels, these kinds of smaller niceties will make it pleasant and I couldn't quite complete the video due to this which otherwise has good content.

Looking at the Indian Brand Mahindra the price is substantially high for us as Indians.. Plus huge waiting list is the fact that pushing me towards MG Hector.. I have tested that vehicle.. When we talk about power and all, the too speed most of us drive is 100-120 both vehicles do that job well even lord alto does that😂.. Yeah but feeling of the thrill is coming under a price and huge waiting list.. and even paying 27 lacs for the luxury line I have to set Irvm day and night.What type of luxury it is?.. No ventilated seat.. (Other Indian Brands are giving) MG is targeting the most audience while XUV is for driving enthusiasts..

I drove both but xuv 700 has best performance but some kind of luxury or internet inside has little edge over xuv but engine is xuv700 is best ..i perefer smooth drive and powerful ride thats is xuv700 as per my opinion

only problem with hector are those 215 width tyres, looks quite thin on such a big car.

Chinese bolne walo pahile apne ghar mai zakh kr dekho toh apko bata chalega ki apke ghar mai adhe se jada almost 75% products yaa uske andar koi part chinese hoga from TV, Ac, fridge, washing machine, mirco oven, electric lights etc. Aur jis phone se comment kar rahe ho na usmai bhi kaHi na kahi china mai bne hue part lage honge etc. Aur baki bohut sari cars mai jo chip lagti hai wo mostly china se hi banke aati hai. Xuv 700 if you can wait or go for top models. Hector is just a boat which is underpowered

Only problem in hector is mileage ..... I have a plan to buy hector in 2027-28.. Hope they resolve this mileage issue before that...

Mg is a class apart. I am happy it's looks and design are polarising. Cars like Seltos, that are outright great designs, end up on the road like peanuts. Every 2nd person I know has a Seltos. XUV is a great SUV, it's biggest drawback is it's price. Most Indians even rich ones, have a middle-class mentality. And spending 25 lakhs on a Mahindra badge just doesn't feel right. But I am sure even XUV will sell like hot cakes.

Mg Hector: I have heard you cannot play music without having the navigator talking in the background about "speedbreaker ahead". Hw can we play music keeping navigator sound off??

After seeing lot of xuvs hector feels but special service is very good on mg where Mahindra service center steal spares like oil filter ,fuel filter without changing them this is huge disappointment

Don't know about XUV but Hector 2023 is full of software glitches with almost all its infotainment apps crashing frequently and many configured completely wrong. Automatic Emergency Braking (ADAS) is positively dangerous in some situations and needs to be switched off. Average is horrible at only 6 in city and 9-10 on highway. But generally plush and smooth.

You just get Hector top models, none of cars in segment can beat it. XUV 700 is also an amazing choice, but not when compared to HECTOR🤌🏻

As a Mg owner this car is best in its best but in the case of mileage it is not at all worth!

Our biggest mistake of life buying mg hector plus diesel version select It's been 21 months 32132km drive complete the cars has change drastically especially after the service experience in kholapur (Maharashtra) they haven't done anything great regarding car service not even bother about the polishing the car after service hand brake wire were open loosen and now the hidden fact of the company policy We had took 5 year premium plan which not cover anything special accept road side assistance Now after 4 service of my car hardly had driven above 120 speed limit is facing clutch plate problem that I had to place new one now Seriously mg that part cost around 74000/- and the employees are speaking a fluent myth that mg car are the best version in Diesel engine And the same service person saying it ( problem hai sir diesel ka clutch plate k) After changing it there is no gaurante of your clutch again We are frustrated over here the Hidden policies of. Mg seriously don't even think again of this brand ever Worst experience Atleast you should take the responsibility of half amount of the parts which cost 2 month emi of your car's Go for Mahindra

Hector good that you make in India but to become hit - have better headlights, cheaper and easier spare service, get rid of auto indicators, at least 235 tyres, 5 star crash rating and Awd, then you'll be undisputed king.

Your review is seriously partial towards XUV. I don’t know from where you got the data. It’s not true. I am MG Savvy Pro customer and got upto 16 km/l on highway. I have the data and evidences to prove that. And other side regarding sound of engine is absolutely not true. In fact my boss is having Xuv700 top variant and getting 6-7 km/l. Regarding comfort there is no comparison. Your feedback is not correct. I can challenge you. Only one drawback in MG is it takes time to pickup speed if you want an immediate thrust

Just took test drive for both. one of the worst steering feedback is in XUV700 not Hector. Hector steering seems stiffen once you drive above high speed. XUV700 stays light which should not be. I can turn it anywhere easily even at high speed. The only pros in xuv is extra punchy engine which not everyone is looking for and decent works too in many cases.

I'm a buyer in this segment. 140 BHP for a car this size + returns lower mileage + Chinese + 3rd row issues is a non-starter with Hector. Bling only feels good for a few days.

Please don't go in this car at all. One of the worst services you will ever receive. I took Hector Plus 2023 just 3 months back and a couple of weeks back suddenly I got an Abnormal Warning message for both my front and rear tyres. After that once I toggled down to check the pressure, it showed it is perfectly fine but the temperature went to 60 degrees and this is happening now for all my tires even if I drive for 15 km. I informed the Service Center then they just gave random answers that due to hot weather, it is showing like that. This is very concerning as earlier the temperature of the tyre even after I drove 1100 km in 20 hrs time was only 33 degrees but now after 15 km, it becomes 60 degrees. I am always in fear that the tyre may get burst anytime. Too risky too trust MG. I am again going back to Kia Seltos which I had for 2 years. One of the best car I ever drove.

Sounds like a very biased review! Was concerned about the 3rd route space after watching your review and I went and checked it out in person. The Hector actually has more space than the XUV700 in the 3rd row. You have pushed the 2nd row fully back and reclined and claiming that it has less space.
