The side dinette is nice because you dont have to convert the rear dinette to a bed every night, which is a downfall of the smaller campers imo.... In my camper the rear dinette always stays as the bed.
As a cook, the only thing I dont like is the dinky microwave. NO. I need a little fullsize oven. If I could fit an oven with these measurements: 20.71"D x 24.61"W x 17.01"H would be perfect!!
If you decide to convert the trailers toilet to a composting toilet, the black tank stays plumbed but will be capped. That way if the owner or future owners ever want to switch back it is a simple switch.
Tongue weight for the Legacy Elite is approximated at 370lb. which is established from the base model. For two vehicles, we recommend anything that has a tow rating above the GVWR. which for the Legacy Elite is 5,000lbs.
Holy cow. Thats alot. I bought my camper, from a friend. $2,000. Mint. Has a bathroom, shower tub, nice kitchen. Lots of storage, i have a dinette, which converts to a bed, bunk beds with a full n single on top, and a click clack sofa. Its perfect for us. Paid for. Im pushing my bf to add solar, for longer boondocking. We shall see. Mines a puma. Heavier. He wants to get fiberglass. I told him, perfect for me, im 5'2". Hes 6'4", 300 lbs. Not perfect for him. Plus we have 3 german shepherds and a lil mutt. Its very tight as it is. Our home is paid for. I want to travel more. He doesnt. So maybe ill sell our puma n get a lil fiberglass one just for me, one shepherd n the lil mutt and go. But 65,000 is way over priced for me.
Excellent, but the stairs are my biggest complaint. They hang WAY too low below the doorway and ruin all the clearance you would have. If you tried to take this on a more unimproved road to a boondocking campsite, you have a real concern of dragging that into the ground. Other than that, this is the quality that we should all demand out of trailers but only two manufacturers build like this. Canada know how to build campers.
Hey Erin, the Legacy Elite was not designed to have the pantry or additional countertop space across from the kitchen. You maybe referring to the Legacy Elite II which does come standard with the molded pantry and fibergranite countertops which conceals a hidden storage space.
@@Olivertraveltrailers - Ahh, color me a dolt. Is there going to be increased size of the propane, battery/solar or holding tanks on the Elite 2 or are they still the same?
@@Erin-Thor Thank you for the great questions, as of now, Oliver is offering the available 20lb propane tanks standard with the Legacy Elite II. However, you maybe referring to the upgradable option to 30lb propane takes. With the battery and solar options, we have a few great packages to fit many needs to camping or lifestyles of use. Both the Legacy Elite & Legacy Elite II have battery and solar upgradable options. New for 2023 Legacy Elite series of trailers come with a 400 Watt solar panel, and a Victron charge control.
With the 12 volt refrigerator, you need to up your standard battery package. Lithium should be available without the expensive solar and inverter package.
