The right side of the central pad is for recharging the key/fob. I just got mine, I drove it for about half an hour in traffic first, and country road, and due to the fact I'm not as snobbish as someone else here, I found no issues with it. Seat is confy, engine ready, braking safe, sufficient visibility, perfect for me to get in and out, attractive features. I like it so far.

cup holder down part is for the longer dimension cans or bottles, so it disappears a little, your touch much more less.

Not sure it's an intentional editorial decision but seems it's impossible to mention the MG brand. As the biggest seller in the segment found the omission extraordinary. If it's not an intentional policy then I guess the presenter spends little time on research.

It's not 360L cargo space, it's 298L. The 360 is counting under the floor boards in the boot.

Can't trust a reviewer who won't admit all cars look the same nowadays. It may not suit you to say it but it is true. Even the comparison gives this away (you compare it to a Hyundai and Lexus, which means, outside the Omoda, those two probably lookalike). And then they are also the safety reasons for why all cars lookalike. It's not hard to understand that certain design features make the car safer. Poor review if you have to start with that.

I find it funny when reviewers say it Rivals the Toyota and the Kia. This fuel guzzling , cheaply made is of no comparison. Yes it has great features and tech. Read the fine print when it comes to warranty. Chery Logo looks like Infinity. And note some greedy dealers have advertised the base model BX for $32,990-$35990 drive away !!!

The competition doesn't get any better economy wise, celtos and cx-30 get around 9-10 per 100, rather keep my Octavia and get combined around 5l.

It's funny when reviewers say Kia and Hyun'Die' rivals Toyota. With their gas guzzling junks on the roads, Kia and Hyun'Die' have also recalled 6.8 million cars for deadly engine fires across the globe models from 2019 - 2022.

It is total rubbish you have to be kidding lol. Have a look at PDdrive review on this car as it goes into more detail with the issues with lane keep assist and driver attention monitor as it shows how it malfuctions so badly on the highway. Wheels mention these things but they don't show the issues which is extremely important.

If it had an epicyclic torque converter auto it would be a point of difference... as it stands the transmission options are disappointing. The size for the price is also disappointing... a big no from me.

You forgot to say that part of the "Chery Effect" is that it can cause the drivers pants leg to shrink by 3-4 inches over time ...

PDdrive has already test driven this and it is a load of rubbish that is a danger on the roads. None of the features work effectively. It should be illegal to sell this model in Australia. They went so far as to make a special mention how dangerous it is before the usual 0-100 test etc. Even the driver attention screen malfunctions and the suspension is terrible and sloppy. It is a disgrace how asleep at the wheel the Government is that this is not just flat out rejected for the Australian market.

@@DEVILTAZ35 Mazda and Honda are junk. I had a 626 and Accord. The only Jap marque worth getting is Toyota and only for resale. Worst is Mitsubishi. Subaru also rubbish nowawdays. Has a Forester and Liberty. Both had blown gaskets after 100,000 km. Same problem across hundreds of thousands of subies in the US they got a class action lae suit. No luck for 🇦🇺 consumers.

@@DEVILTAZ35 I never said anything about this car. Just saying Aussies love Chinese made cars according to VFACTS. Mazda are bloody noisy and poorly package for passenger space. The CX-5 is more cramped than a Hyundai Kona. Lol
