Simply art. Rode for 30+ years, but in my 60s a bike like this is just too much for me. Going the SuperMoto route. Had so many death close calls in my day it is amazing to be alive.
@@broke4strokes arrived at me last week Tuesday, done 300km and I love it. The heat under seat isnt as bad as people mentioned. If I can run it in before middle next month I will attend the track day to really test it
@@LivingOnEdge_NZ read the manual, the First 600 mile rev limits go up a bit but your still not able to use all the revs till it’s done about 1500 from memory!
Ordered mine tonight and it’s waiting for me! 2022 ex demo with 400 miles on it (I did over 200 of those miles trying it out a few months ago) Can’t wait for s0”prong now (Uk) and summer (trip to Italy with my son on his SP2 V4. Test ride on the bike was awesome. It will be my second big bike (Honda CBR650R as first after a 125cc for a year). I test rode it last year and the dealer (nutter) handed it to me in race mode with full power! Loved it, did not do anything untoward (warm dry day) I would use sport or Road if it was cold or wet but in the dry it’s fine! Sound from the stock exhaust is great! Don’t feel the need to change it!
Resting your toes (or rather the ball of your feet) on the foot pegs is how you're supposed to be riding so you are actually riding the bike the correct way by trying to get more comfortable lol.
its worth the money, once you get comfortable with it it dose not feel to powerful, it does run pretty hot, i drove 17 hours in 1 day and i did not find it uncomfortable, maybe its because i was used to riding it. If you can afford it upgrade to ohlins suspension! the difference is huge! Gz on the bike and stay safe :D
Thanks for this video! Is there any buzz on the handlebars or foot pegs? Any high frequency vibration at all that could get annoying during long rides?
G’day Broke, this is a really nice looking motorcycle, well done on your dream bike. It actually sounds quite deep as standard. I have a 848 Corse that sounds fine with the shorter mufflers we got standard in Oz, I had a 1992 900 Superlight & I don’t know how that bike got through the Aussie regulations of the day, it thumped. You may also come across people who ask or just assume that Ducati is an unreliable brand, thanks to some bikes from the 70’s. Just smile & wave 😂.
I am happy to have found your channel. Thanks for the great content! I live in Sweden and I will buy a used (only 400 km) Panigale V2, and I can't wait. The only thought that has me wondering how ill get around it; is the fact that I prefer to not ride with a backpack (not sure if it is a valid precaution, but it feels better to not have anything tied to my spine, in case of an accident; comments on this are welcome) and I wonder how to bring some stuff with me on the bike. It does not have the passenger seat and I do not want to scratch the tail in any way if I would tie down a backpack behind the seat. Im thinking both for everyday riding and if I would go for a weekend trip and need a tent or something like that. Any comments on this topic would be very much appreciated! Thanks a bunch!
I’m happy to comment. I totally get you missed my question in my comment 🤓 What I want to ask is how to bring casual stuff, maybe a change of clothes or whatever; if I do not have a back seat nor want to ride while wearing a backpack? Thanks!
Mine is waiting in the showroom for me to come get it. In white with a full akra exhaust, test rode a v2 with the full exhaust and you just nut because of the sound.. so I had to get it
The stealth mirrors do not have integrated turn signals, here is where you can find the Rizoma turn signals www.rizoma.com/en/fr070.html?moto=11591&pm=true
5:50 I didn't drop my first bike (S1000RR). But i rode it like a 300cc bike.😂 The time i crashed was on 150cc and 300cc. Never crashed or even drop S1000RR, R6, Tuono. I think it's because i knew they are expensive that why i was careful with it.
Haha, I rode a beat up rebel 300 a few weeks ago and dropped it. To be fair it's a very difficult bike to ride if you're used to more maneuverable bikes.
I was going to buy this bike last week and It had the SC projects exhaust. They fired it up and I said hell no! The loudest thing I've ever heard on a motorcycle. I don't think I could start that up anywhere anywhere I mean anywhere!
beautiful bike brah......yeah people will want to steal it, wouldnt leave it out of my sight here in LA....nothing needs to be done to that thing, also i think 155 hp is perfect, enough to give you a buzz but not ridiculous......have a duke 890 and makes 121 hp and it could use lil bit more, not a ton but would be nice.....especially for top end
You’re not supposed to have your feet in the front. You should rest them at the pegs and only move them forward for breaking or gearchanging. You learn this first in track days 😊 selling my tuono v4 for a panigale v2 next year 😊 good videos
Beautiful bike! IMHO the V2 does not get the love it should. The only thing I would say is if they do a V2S? That would be banging! However it could hurt the V4s sales. And yes I have a V4R ordered. When people say a bike is to powerful. I disagree.......Your right wrist controls the power!
Knocking 😂 & touching is a different thing. But hey! Be proud of it! You got yourselves your dream bike and its cool that so many people appreciate them so much.😊Ride safe man😅😊❤
Nice video! I am thinking about buying one as well, but I am not sure of the colour. Have you seen the white rosso one in person? How does it compare to the red one?
Thanks! I saw the white one in person a couple months ago, it is stunning. It was hard to pick which color myself but I kind of wanted to keep it classic. Even though it’s not gloss white, it has a kind of sparkle or pearlescent effect to it.
I have one. Riding in normal stop/go traffic it gets HOT as HELL! 2nd degree blisters on the underside of my right thigh if I'm on it for more than an hour. Without a doubt the hottest running bike I've ever owned in my 25 years of riding sport bikes. Also yes this thing gets huge attention. I've immediately left parking lots before I ever got off the bike because of the attention I got pulling in. I've had people walk up asking to sit on it, telling me they'll watch it real close while I go inside.... creepy AF.
@@brathersadda9436 Wheelie control can be turned off but from what I'm beginning to understand, the factory ecu settings are garbage and a decent exhaust/flash will get it to do whatever you want. Still learning though.
@@JamminJedi Ah super nice and thanks for the answer. But if u can do extended wheelie on wheelie control lemme know. Thanks in advance PS dont hurt urself
I have 4k miles I shut off at stop lights really keeps heat down I have 40 plus track days it's easily most comfortable sport bike I had. Done 650 mile day trip no issues.
For the european guys here. Im from Germany and I ordered mine in february, ill go pick it up next week. I dont know why the availability in the EU is so bad but just so u know.....
For actual visibility behind you, I rate them 7/10. They are much slimmer than the oem mirrors so naturally you’re going to see a bit less. Thanks for watching!
Love that bike! I plan on buying mine used in white. It’s powerful enough for most people. The V4 is fun but V2 is plenty. Definitely not for a beginner. Do you plan to get an exhaust?
Wtf is that insurance price!? I'm 27 and in the UK, 9 years riding experience and mine was £280 this year. Absolutely no way I'd be paying £3000 that's daylight robbery
Ahem! Just bought a V2, had a GSX-S125 for a year and about 4,000 miles then a Honda CBR650R for a year and 6,000 miles. Have NOT dropped either! Not all of us drop bikes when we’re inexperienced! And the Panigale V2 is lighter and better handling than the Honda but your still right while in street mode it’s probably around my Hondas power 94-100 it’s not a first bike! Too powerful (who can resist a Race mode completely) and is too expensive even if you aren’t going to drop it!
@@broke4strokes Thanks you too! Just need to keep it a bit sensible when riding with my son, as an ex BSB Racer he’s quite quick and he’s on a Panigale V4 SP2 with full Akro exhaust this year!
I would say it depends how long your rides/commutes are. I rode it an hour and 45min one-way the other day and probably wouldn't do it again (at least without a break in between). I also had a backpack on which didn't help. 30min-1hr seems to be the sweet spot
I commute every nice day on mine, so come the weekend I have no issues doing longer rides. I talked myself out of going to OC bike week due to the 2 hour ride. But then the morning of I got out at 9am and didn't make it back home till after 2pm. I could have made it to OC and hung out and still rode back home. It is more comfortable than most normal sportbikes.
You get raped as a young rider in the U.S. on big-bore sport bikes. Thirty-four years ago when I was 20, I paid $4K a year to insure an FZR1000. Now I own three bikes, a 1250 GSA, R9T and a V2 Bayliss and only pay $1K per year for full coverage with zero deductible.
In S. Ca., riding in the summer 100' ambient plus, you had better wears leathers or you will for sure burn the hell out of your right thigh. All i9n all, that's the only real drawback to the bike. Reality, it kinda forces you to gear up....
I have this bike and put 300kms on it. My seat doesn't get hot at all. I feel warmth on my inner thighs from the engine head, not the exhaust, but nothing really to complain about. Just move the legs away from the bike a little and let the wind cool them down. People that talk up the heat on this bike are over dramatic. I've ridden in traffic and the twisties.
It is so pretty and I wanted to love it. ... But I absolutely hate the tank shape. Right between your crotch it is low, very froward sloped and gives no support at all. Could not live with that so had to pick another bike.
this is surely not a first time buy for any rider. this should be the 3rd or 4th buy. and the buyer has to prepare the arrival of this red beast, set up everything and create or develop a wise circle of companions, the problem is due to banks proving vehicle loans has given everyone the freedom to own expensive wheelers, but you cannot own an expensive vehicle and have idiots around you all the time, they will definitely cause damage out of jealousy or due to the ignorance of the value. I know a lot of filthy rich and see how sleek and well-mannered companions they keep, and nobody asks each other "hey can i ride, drive or take a look at your possessions". Bottom line is Do Not buy expensive vehicles if you have low life friends. This video is so practically spoken, love it, but I am still confused between V2 and V4 which one to pick. Owners please reply with your suggestion. thank you.
