I’m not a trucker and just subscribe because I love your trucks. I’d love it if you could talk about the pros and cons of different options. Ie. Spring front axel vs air ride. Maybe non super truckers (steering wheel holders) will also appreciate it.
Beautiful truck! So not knowing anything about trucking, if one were to acquire a new rig & begin a new career (at middle age) in this arena would it be recommended in 2023+ is there a strong demand?
Badass color! Now I would rather have the other tank 100gal so I can match it up with the other tank. Then I can put my tripac under the sleeper instead and be able to keep my other step/toolbox on my frame
Nice old school truck. What is a "Hollywood edition"? Reminds me of a Ford color chameleon. It can be black, blue, green, purple when you look at it at a different angles. The disc brakes will last about 500.000 miles approximately until you have to change the pads. I have seen a lot of those trucks with the disc brakes.
Can someone tell me if they’re actually discontinuing 389 after this year? I think the dealer just wants to make a sale on me…u know there such honest people, but I’d just like some input 😂
I love Petes but who are they really marketed for? There are many far more fuel efficient options out there which would make better economic sense. I could see a Pete being used for heavy hauling but that’s about it.
Truly beautiful truck you can't do any better as a factory truck is concerned. If conservatives can get back in control of our government and hopefully get rid of that moron in charge of the department of transportation and the people directly under him so we can get some people in charge who actually care about truckers instead of worrying about mandating speed limits and self driving trucks because the last time I checked we are supposed to be professional drivers who go to school for weeks and have known about speed limits since we started driving 4wheelers legally since 15 years of age but if anyone is like me who grew up in the country I have been driving since I was 13 and I learned on a manual trans.
@@ayliniemiyes. Sure it looks awesome. Simply gorgeous. But i think practicality-wise a 579 with smoother nose is more aerodynamic and can save on diesal as well as get slowed down less against harsh oncoming wind.
@taemeister9302 We do more short hauling so doesn't effect us as much. I guess if I wanted more aero I would look at the new internationals. Hopefully they don't have those max force problems they used to have.
