That color combination is just kick ass. It kind of reminds me of some of the paint schemes used on mid 80's squarebody Chevy's which still have awesome style.
What a beautiful rig, I just have seven more days before I can finally order mine 😁 Love the videos gives me a chance to look at the options and see what I can do
You have excelled this time Keith with the color scheme of this truck the white frame most unusual. Good to see you still active on U Tube. Things slowly returning to normal here in Australia but not as good as 2 years ago All the best Keith and one day i will get to visit your dealership.. We are just easing into Fall down here.
The price of $ 284,849 is absolutely INSANE . Take you 20-23 years to have this paid off. Insurance on these is now over $ 16,000 a year with 7 star rating .
You are absolutely correct about the sticker price but what gets me laughing is that we are not even 1/4 of the way thru 2022 and they trying to sell a 2023 ride lol
That is a lot money for keeping pay back this lovely truck.. and make money for living and service, i hope not to much damage on the motor and gear box and axels.. i read every day hard working the next 20 years ? (you go for long distance ?)
@@jonw8183 16k for insurance is considered "cheap" with the way this corrupt kabal of thieves are. I've seen quotes for $23k especially new entry. So a unit like this will definitely be crazy expensive.
My gosh what a combo 605hp X15 with 18sp & 355 rears on 24.5"s.!!!!!! That's the exactly the setup I ran Shake'&Bake on.... No just a 600Cat with 18 on 355 set on 24.5's b4 the DEF / BS....!!$$$$ Mine was metallic RED with Gold stripe kit & painted tanks 150's ...!!!!! Cabbage was no problem & the Grape Vine was a walk in the park loaded & Tehachapi walk'n the dog whoop.whoop..!!¡ U know the drill....
Beautiful Peterbilt. Love the colors🥰. Dont care for the "smart wheel" & the "cartooned" computer dash panel. They must be standard equipment in these newer Peters, eh??? Nive video & thanks for sharing!
Это фантастика! Кажется, словно этот очень классический внешне тягач с невероятно современной и технологичной начинкой находится в какой-то паралельной вселенной, в мире не доступном для нас 😔
Sou brasileiro. Residente no estado do Paraná.
That's a gorgeous truck. Even got the good stuff under the hood for today's standard with the Cummins and Manual transmission. I'm with a 389 From 2019 but it has a PACCAR. I still love my truck though.
That business center as you called it in the sleeper, is that something that can be ordered? I want something like that in my 2020 Pete 389 but can't find it anywhere
One thing I would like to suggest to any new peterbilt owner with the business center in the bunk. Hand tighten all the screws that hold it together, eventually they will come loose and your drawers will rattle. Just saying, after owning a new 1 in 08.
Could you please provide me with the blue paint code? I already have a 389 ordered at Martins Pete in London, Ky. I'm doing a 2 tone blue/black, but I like this blue better!
I'm trying to do the math justification. 200,000 miles a year maybe? 5 years you've got a wore out million mile truck and another year of payments on a 6 year note? BEAUTIFUL truck though.
I'm not a trucker but I love these Peterbilts. I wonder what it would take to get Peterbilt to build a pickup truck with "big rig-ish" features for the masses?
Given the supply and demand issue right now what is a rig spec'ed out like this costing these days? I've seen used 2020 and 2021 models with 100K - 300K miles selling for an obscene $250K and higher. If a guy can wait a while a would hope those prices would come down.
Hi Keith cool trucks if I specified a build for a new 389 and it look good on paper would you take a chance on it for your lot on demand inventory it would be in good taste I’m sure it would sell rite now sadly I can’t buy it but it is my dream truck it would be all your premium specs just my choice of colors wheels tires rear full color matched fenders more vertical slats in the grille just 2 round head lights stacks curved at the top 18 speed 605 Cummins walk in sleeper and every possible option and upgrade on the books 280” WB Ledgendary black metallic with ledgendary Red metallic fenders and frame just as a example tan interior and the old style Square Peterbuilt badges and all the chicken lights tell me what ya think thank you
