Hello Kirsty just catching up with Flosstube this afternoon. Love the gingham fabric that the bounty sampler is stitched on. Happy crafting 🪡🧵🧶 best wishes Natalie x
Happy New Year to you and all the family! Love your plans - do have a look at the Flax sweater by Tin Can Knits for your first sweater - Free Pattern on Ravelry! My husband started this for his first sweater and now he’s made about a dozen - basically if you compliment his knitting in any way he will knit you one 😂😂😂 Yay for factoring in our FB Sal! Looking forward to seeing you in March 💃😃
I have a monkey buttons bag to finish this year. I’d love to see your progress. She came to my sewing group here in Gloucestershire and it was a case of so little time so many bags. I also have a motorbike cushion to make for my other half from 6 years ago.😅 Loved seeing all your different projects and your craft items have made me think more about making my own ornaments. Please leave all the details of how to research those. They as well as learn to crochet is very much on my list of things to do!! Keep your crafty tubes coming when you can they really do keep me going ❤
So the prim ornaments are from Peach Bottom Primitives on Etsy The felt fox is from House of Zandra The wool appliqué ornaments I will have shown in my last crafting video are from Buttermilk Basin, I got them from Liberty Bell in the UK. 😊
Hi Kirsty and Happy New Year !! Sounds like you have a good plan in mind to cover all your areas of crafting with the 3 by 3 and look forward to seeing your progress !! Have a good week !!
Happy New Year! Loving the ambitious plans, The Morris Dancer alone would keep me busy most of the year! I know absolutely nothing about quilting but have you thought of cross stitching something for the middle panel of the Jane Austen quilt? That may be a very stupid idea for many reasons but a lot of the middle motifs of HATS look a bit like what is in the model.
Happy New Year 🥳 have you recovered from flossmas! It’s not a stupid idea at all and it was one I had been considering, I don’t know why I haven’t kept the idea going. I think the most difficult part ( but not impossible it would just take effort!) would be to get the linen/evenweave colour to blend in, but I will pursue it, although it will take longer to cross Stitch than appliqué.
Good luck with your crafting this year. You do make me feel better though as I've got the Stephen West MKAL22 sat at the side of me still unfinished (last part has been waiting ages) and also a Trio of Storage Baskets kit from Amber Makes that I bought with the intention to use it at Christmas when my crafty corner moved for the tree, it's all still in it's packaging 🤫
Thank you for watching 😊 I keep on looking at all of Stephen West kals but even I know it’s too much too soon! Good luck finishing yours 🤞I am glad I am not the only one whose crafty corner has to move 🥹 You obviously bought the baskets for Christmas’24 😉 Happy New Year 🥳
