Hello lovely, you’ve done so much over the last couple of months. Got our SALs kitted ready for 2025. Love your Dresden plate, you do need to make a whole quilt of those. If you have any doubts about the stitchy security of your Jane Austen quilt then do go back over it. The finished one that I bought is proving dubious in places.☹️ Have a great summer.😊
Wow, what a fabulous update. I love everything and ‘try’ to do all the various crafts too! You are definitely no longer a beginner in the knitting - I am still on baby blankets and jumpers! Only problem is there are not enough hours in the day. Have a great summer and thank you for sharing.

Lovely update and congratulations to John. I know what you mean about watching the marathon being tiring. When my husband did it I was at the start and then two places en route and then the finish - and for one stop I had to rendezvous with my parents who kept asking if I could see David yet…..nearly throttled them. I mean they knew what he looked like! Glad you’ve worked out what to do about the boo-boo in your sampler. So annoying when you can’t find the miscount and so can’t even decide if you can fudge. Have a lovely weekend - I’ll be doing some gardening too, but it’s penance for me as I find it very tedious 😁

Kirsty...enjoyed all your crafts...in trying to get guage...your swatch should be blocked before you measure your guage...I then take the measurements when the swatch is dry..I use Clover wooden needles...the metal points caused nerve damage in my fingers...I have made adjustments to my cast on stitches if I need more stitches to increase the width or adjust the length by additional rows of the sweater using the original stitches per inch to make the actual guage needed for width and adding or subtracting for the length with the yarn...best wishes ❤❤

One of these days I will get feed up of my finished projects not fitting and learn my lesson and swatch, wash and block !! 😂
