Pretty much what I did when we picked up the 03 daily! Except the top end, we got all the previous work history from the original owner and it had the intake gasket done under the lawsuit!

i just got my license last year and my grandpa gave me a good deal on a 03 grand am gt 700$ just needed new tires, air filter and oil change and was ready to go cars got some good acceleration

I still have a 2004 Grand Am 187,000 miles on it starts up every time. There’s no major problems with it only the thermostat is bad which keeps turning on the check engine light and I keep clearing it lol. I’m going to change the thermostat and change the coolant at the same time once summer hits.
