Thanks, Dan. New sub here. I just hope that my dealer will take money for my tutorial when I buy. But I love it. They say, once you've had your first RR, if you buy another, the introductory phase of getting around the cockpit becomes a lot easier, yes? It will be my first here very soon. And I am really excited about this car and getting familiar with it. Thanks. Learned a lot in just under 21 mins. Blessins...
Clear instructions, thank you! Do you have any information on the ‘24 changes? On the configurator the climate control knobs and the terrain response selector are removed. The hvac controls are replaced with a panel of wood trim. Do you know if this panel, located vertically just below the Pivi Pro screen, opens as a storage compartment or is just fixed?
@@dan_stuart I will check it out thank you! When you learn more about the other L460 ‘24 changes, please post a video. I am hoping the vertical wood panel where the hvac controls were, is now a potential sunglass compartment 😎
Stupid RR designers downgraded the 2024 interior by removing the beautiful climate control unit and replacing it with a piece of wood, making it look cheaper, like a tesla.
Very helpful video. Thanks. Is it possible to add more than one driver profile. We have been told that you can only have one InControl account per vehicle. The driver profiles seem to be linked to InControl.
Hey. Nice, detailed video. Thank you. I have a question though - is the infotainment screen angle adjustable? Or is it fixed in one position? I don't expect it to swivel towards the driver, but can you at least position it at a little more upright angle?
@@dan_stuart The car costs so much money, and they omit details like that? That sounds bad. Especially since the screen is curved outwards, so it's going to glare like a mirror. I'm disappointed. But, thanks for the reply!
@@_nopestr No issues that I can think of. I drive mine alot and except for waiting on the SRS module, and windshield (had to wait 2 months), and coolant light that came on a couple of times car has run flawlessly. However I do not see the wisdom in 30k mile OCIs, and consumables such as rear brakes, and replacement tires were not cheap (I have the optional 23s).
Very useful video, thank you so much! Can I know how to activate the vibrating when shifting to another path on the street Also, how can the street speed limit showen beside the speedometer dashboard
The lane keep assist is on the right side of the steering wheel. For the traffic sign recognition, you’ll need to go to the settings on the touch screen under vehicle then it’s under one of the sub menus
Doesn’t matter what it says. It gets about 12 mpg. I have this in 2024 model year. Mine came displaying 442 miles on full. Never reached that again and on full may say 382. Will realistically go 259 maybe. It’s for decoration😂
Can you keep it in park with the heater or ac going and sleep in it for 8 hours without the motor coming on, using only EV mode, and do the AC outlet and 12v cigarette lighter outlets stay active?
@@dan_stuart The selling point of the rover was it was a PHEV with the largest battery of any PHEV, a 38kwh battery, but for some reason they disabled all of the features that made it useful. Imagine being able to camp and use 38kwh of electricity for climate control, cooking, and computers before the engine has to come on to recharge the batteries! An EV is not practical for remote camping because you need the battery to enter/leave your spot and cannot use your electricity at the spot, unless it was a super super big battery.
@@100toeface you’re talking about a 2700kg luxury SUV that drives like you’re on a cloud while giving you in excess of 1000km per gas tank. They weren’t going after the camping folk with the invention of this vehicle. In any event, I see your point!
I have 2024 p530 the check engine light came on last last night... I only have 1400 miles on the car... any way I can check the issue on the navigations or have take to the shop? Nery disappointed with the the issue.
How can I adjust the side steps, if I want to deactivate the side steps, is there a menu in the infotainment screen. Also how do I know if active noise cancellation is on and can I turn it off I have equipped the meridian signature sound system?:)
The side steps can be de-activated. I am unsure if it’s through the touchscreen or not. If it was, it would be under vehicle settings. The noise cancellation is only on the Meridian Reference audio system which is available only on Autobiography and SVAutobiography. In Canada anyhow.
Only compass that would technically be there is changing the navigation to ‘north facing view’ which can be configured on the top right of the touch screen.
@@yenaibi yes but you can program the diamond button on the steering wheel to turn it off. But every new journey on the car, it will be on unfortunately
@@dan_stuart I really appreciate it Dan thank you. But I'm a bit confused on the diamond feature, I'd appreciate just a short explanation on the steps. Thank you
@@yenaibi I go through it on this video. The left side of the steering wheel has a diamond button which is called the favorite button. It can be programmed to activate or deactivate a list of features.
