ridiculously high cost SUV which is not even a head turner on the roads. For the range of Rs1.7Cr-2.7Cr, i'd rather go for Merc G350c G Wagon just for the iconic look!
@anonymous still at this price one can get X7 or GLS. Unless you are a fan of RR, why would anyone buy this over them? They are better in every aspect.
@anonymous except off roading, nothing is better and it's a fact. And I haven't even started about reliability. RR constantly topping worst car charts itself is a proof. And no one is going to take an RR or X7 in to 900mm of water. So, try to be little bit practical. An RR fan who wants to go offroading will prefer Defender over this anyday.
@anonymous just because it's Indian, doesn't makes it more capable. Good for you that you are using Made in India products. No issues with that but it doesn't changes the facts about anything. I on the other hand don't just blindly follow anything wether it's Indian or not. You have your opinion and I have mine. M not saying that don't buy a RR. 1.64 cr for this vehicle is not justified and this is a fact when you have options like X7, GLS even XC90 at less or same price.
All range rover diesel engines are sourced from bmw previous generation engines very expensive to maintain these rovers your pockets will be empty to maintain these unworthy rovers
Your opinion towards petrol engine is opposite to what I observed while driving it. I as a customer recommend buying a diesel engine option, rather than a low-performance petrol engine for a such giant SUV.
The Sport feels more like a different variant of an already launched Range Rover, There should have been a visual balance like old Sports, also the could have brought in a PHEV or Mild Hybrid variants
Barely any off-roading and more talk about comfort and climate control. Also need to have a better presenter and a better script. Just throwing numbers on a screen doesn’t do anything. Give me a call and we can make a better video for the same car.
JLR should explore the possibility of a technical collaboration with TOYOTA . . . in the interest of making Land Rover more reliable just like TOYOTAs are . . . otherwise Land Rovers are brilliantly engineered 4WD all terrain vehicles . . . the RR Sport could do with front & rear lateral strut bars for enhanced torsional rigidity & stiffening . . .
those who buy 2 cr car pay a hefty tax to goverment (almost 28% GST alone i.e. about 56 lakh) so that your favorite govt can give freebies to freeloaders and win elections. so don't worry. that part is covered too.
The folks who will buy this car are already paying crores on taxes, so the lazy freeloader are well fed. Also there is a huge upfront tax when buying this car, and stop giving BS, the buyer worked their arse off to buy and they are not accountable for the poverty of others.
The 360 degress camera hav lot of bugs it strucks everytime the parktronic sensors sounds many unwanted situations 2016-2019 interface was much better don’t ever go for these rovers rather go for bmw x5 unworthy investment on defender,range rover sport or range rover the new pivipro is useless it’s on air updates is a big glitch
Even defender is unworthy lot of electronic issues suddenly the wireless charger stops functioning if thats fixed then another problem with speakers stops functioning on one side pivi pro interface is useless filled of multiple bugs
