I've been on for 19 years and I've personally lost 2 good friends on the job. I don't blame politics, i don't blame people's backgrounds, the judicial system, etc... I blame these individuals who make these decisions that know they're not suppose to shoot ANYONE. Some people just don't care about other people and they like to blame everything and everyone else except themselves. Shout out to my PPD family, yes even Highway, and i hope everybody has a Good New year.

@scott-vk6qe I see my own big picture. I have my own perspective on what I observe. People have to take accountability for their actions and if the big picture means blaming and pointing fingers then.... . That's like me saying oh I'm behind with my mortgage so let me take this drug money off of this guy. I can't blame being behind financially, that's why I took the money. I'm held to a higher standard but everybody should be held to a higher standard. Not just The Police.

I shudder to think what Philly will become in the upcoming decade...I was born in Germantown in 1960 spent most of my life in the city SW PHilly mostly...I know guys on the job; Everyone is retiring or getting better assignments out of the city...The MAYORS, DA's, judges, commanders, etc, have screwed the pooch...The police need to be converted to Judge Dredds ...Like that little POS that killed the two Statees, she should have NEVER made it into a patrol car...I miss the days of F. Rizzo...

Also that they don't have data because they do not want to include the data

I wonder why though, could it be the way the police are treating citizens. Hmmm

No. Blame the small brains of the offenders.

Having more than one central database isnt ideal if you want to streamline the information effectively. Really seema the current structural process wasnt fully thought out or was intentionally set up that way. When lives are on the line having mutiple databases holding specific information will bottleneck the process and cause officers to act on false or outdated info.😢

Yeah, gun violence historically in Phila has decreased when a lot of bad guys get killed off. Then others come in and soon it goes back up. In Chicago, it does not woik dat way dey are out to kill every way every day. It just continues to accelerate for some reason.

Definitely true. I remember when I lived in Philadelphia. Police always bothered me for no reason. Throwing me on their police car because I "fit" the description. Only to let me go after 30 minutes of holding me. Stopping me in my own neighborhood because it was too nice for a black person to live there. All kinds of stuff. It isn't really a surprise bad things happen when you do your job that way.
