Money aside, I'd pick this one. The Megane RS is such an underrated car, I owned the GT and I can vouch that it's a solid car. No lemon tendencies here 😅 and it really goes

@@Asdasty Yup, I had an issue where the battery got flat and it wouldn't start, took it to a Renault dealer and they replaced it within 24hrs at no cost to me, when they showed me the price I almost had a heart attack 😄 I was glad it had warranty
I would definitely... without fail if money was not a problem get this over the i30N, a tuned by renault sport, rear wheel steering.. 220kw+, just crazy man, forget the sunroof
This one is base spec, factory options are Recaro seats, Fuijilight wheels, Potenza S007 tyres, but they might not be available in all countries. Sunroof can also be optioned but you don't really want a sunroof on a performance focused car though. Personally I prefer the interior over the other 2 cars, especially if you can get the Recaros which really makes it look good.
If money wasn't an issue then I would pick the Rs 300 no doubt! With 221kw and 420nm, four wheel steering and that exhaust note! Yes the interior is slightly poor and there's no sunroof which sucks but I could honestly live with it. I just wish renualt brought the rs 300 lux along aswell instead of just 55 units of the trophy because its a better daily car.

As a car enthusiast, I will take this any day. Even over a Golf R. I don't care that it's a Renault or that other people like the golf better. At the end of the day, I choose the car for me and nit others. And for me, this does it. The lack of sunroof is the only issue I have with this.
Hothatches made sense 2019 and before. At launch the RS280 EDC was around the R400k mark. @ R900k I would come with three proper different cars with this RS300. Good Content as always mnaka
I saw a white one going for R599k and The price keep on dropping. Only 14k km on the clock. 2020 Model/Auto. As for Golf, my Colleague got Hijacked yesterday after knocking off from work and he bought it even though he knew about the risk.
I think it's It's competitor is probably the golf 8r, not the GTI. They even retail for the same price although the 8r, due to supplier issues, is being sold for more than 1,2M
I’d get a 2019-2020 version, for less than half the price and all the bells and whistles. It’s one you plan to keep for a while because of depreciation but you won’t get tired of👌🏽
Isn't the VW Golf 8 R a more worthy competitor price wise? I feel like we are putting unnecessary pressure on the GTi but since we here a VW Golf 7.5 GTi TCR is another worthy competitor as it's also a front wheel drive
You need to realise that it's a track car you can daily. It's a softer version of the Trophy R. The normal RS was priced between the GTI and i30N. You're paying for the Trophy R's Nürburgring Nordschleife lap time of 07:55. The same as a Ferrari F430 F1, more than a second faster than a Lamborghini Gallardo SE, and 10 seconds a lap faster than a E92 M3.
I am kinda between these choices & so far Im with the I30N but my mind the other day took me to the A250 with AMG pack for this amount of money but ai must say Im stagnating cause my heart & my mind are in a serious battle. Im also a bit tired of making the safe decisions feels like I haven't lived....
Dude just lease the car for a little bit maybe 3 months to see how you truly feel cause that's a decent amount of time. That way you'll make a decision that's not necessarily safe but you are sure of

There's a 2023 BMW M135i xDrive at SMG BMW Ballito with 5500km,yes, 5.5 tawa, on the clocks. Its selling for R898 500. And it has a sunroof. Thats all Im saying.

Honestly im a huge fan of the i30 N anyone who knows me would say the same... but these French cars are something else... what they lack for in sensibility they make up for in their charisma
I really feel like dissatisfied bcuz u can't compare a special edition when you could have compared the th i30n with the 280 lux. It's under 750k as all the bells and features like sunfroom and everything u want in it. This is doing renuelt fans wrong. The are different specs u could have used or shown in the video. It's no hate just showing something huge that you messed out on.
@MuziSambo unrelated point, we always waiting for your content, you should consider doing a new vs used comparison on the same model of car, should make for solid car buying advise, especially these days since there are cars that cost more used than new at some dealerships

Look i would choose this megane rs over i30 , because between sunroof and sound system, i'll sacrifice sunroof....You need proper sound sytem in a car mate.
