It's quite commendable that Hyundai took a risk to bring this great car into our market, regardless of the obvious dominance of the GTI ...if we didn't have such a high youth unemployment, I suspect it would receive the well deserved support

thats why ive decided that when i buy a car itll be a toyota hilux, im gonna drive it for probably 15yrs. you cant be changing cars every 5yrs, they literally cost the price of a house. i want one big spend then im done, just a latest double cab hilux will meet all my needs forever.

This car is a great package, the specs and the price is worth everything. I have been close to it a few times and I would def take it over any hatchback in South Africa
Last week I went to check this car out and I must say it's a beast. Nice interior, love the rims but the price is too steep. I was also impressed by how huge the sunroof is

Like how you break down the costs to these cars. I would like you to also review the booming second-hand market. An example would be buying a 2018 BMW 3 series as it seems me and you are huge BMW fans but a bit broke to buy the G20 at the moment hahaha!.......So a review with costs on an F30 low mileaged would be a great content as that is a market that majority are focused on as well. And most reviews are on new cars

Had my FL DCT for 4 weeks. Immense. Don't buy if you're concerned about fuel prices, you wont be happy. Drives amazingly well, handling is superb and the planting of the car on the road is a joy. Still running in sadly!!!

I think you were conservative with the insurance numbers. R1800 on any car of this Value Is low. Add the performance aspect and I think you'll be looking at around R2500+

Faster than a gti in standard form, facts. I don't buy cars for resale value I buy it for the experience that's what you truly buying it for. Generally cars will always be depreciation asset except for collectors cars. If you buying this car for fuel consumption then you looking at the wrong car. These cars also come with a 5 year track warranty for the race track from hyundai so what other manufacturer offers that?

It’s demand, I think. If you’re talking about performance hatches the first thing that comes to people’s minds in the GTI, no one would think of a Hyundai. So like, Hyundai is desperate to sell so they decrease the price. Looking at VW, after people saw the price of the Golf 8 they said it’s overpriced and it’s not that different from a 7.5 and that way the price of the 7.5 GTI increased bc it’s getting demanded. Can get pre-facelifts for around R460k. Great value car. New represents great value too. But, like you say, no street cred, no resale value if you want to change cars often.

yes it's a great nice car ....and it is great tht u comparing it to a GTI instead of R line but there are parts tht have more quality in the GTI than in the hyundai i30n gti has a very strong experience in the history with hatchbacks and the quality about it now is tht u can compare it with a benz or the audi it has an automatic handbrake and the i30n has a manual handbrake it has ceramic brakes and the i30n doesn't have one it has brembo brakes the gti has adaptive lights and a new speedometer tht u can compare with benz and audi than the i30n the gti tcr has wonderful bucket seats and it cost around same price as the i30n the new polo gti has parking assistance
I meant the clubsport personally I would buy the 2020 7.5 R line because it also has the same price as the i30n... and it has more quality parts than the i30n it has akraprovic exhaust and dynamic mode
I feel i20 n 2022 is better than i30n 2022 with everything beside the exterior it has a big screen than in the i30n and it has a race chip of which makes it sound better than i30n
