2023 Scotland NC500 Bike Trip Pt2

Day 3 was our actual start of the NC500 - after a delicious full Scottish we had a wet start leaving Bonar Bridge on our way to John O'Groats.
The weather improved as we rode north with a couple of stops along the way.
After the obligatory Signpost pics and souvenirs at a busy JO'G we then made our way to a windy Dunnet head for more pics and ice cream.
Disappointed that the SD card changed just before arriving at JOG was incompatible with the camera so apologies for loss of footage along the north coast towards our digs at the Kyle of Tongue.

That Dunrobin Castle is beautiful, and so well kept. Looks like you had better weather at JOG than we did!! Looked a nice relaxed trip with everyone

Nice part of the world. I live west-central Scotland, 25 mins from Loch Lomond, and 30 mins from the coast. It's brilliant for biking, generally decent roads and nice locations. Enjoyed your video, good to see some nice sensible riding, the west coast part is my favourite, much more rugged and stunning. New subscriber 😊

Thanks for your comment - Yes, brilliant biking trip. We have been known to rip it up in the past but as we are now of a certain vintage we are more conscious that it shouldn't always be a race and to savour the moments more. We did the anti clockwise route and the north / west coast was amazing - would love to do it again 👍
