Hi! I'm preparing for the 2024 session and my paper 2 paper 2 practical is on (2nd April 2024). I'm still facing many problems in access like creating a report or using like or no formulas. So please suggest me any tips for those. And thank you for the effort you put into these videos. Much appreciated
paper 3 looked so much easier when you do it, i always have a harder time on paper 3 than 2, thank you, i did well for my paper 2 today and will be doing paper 3 soon
Good luck. It looks easier because paper 3 requires you to take the time to think of how to solve the Excel problems. The trick is to remain calm and read the question and the directions multiple times slowly. Take the time to analyse the spread sheet so that you know everything that is included in it. Then you will be able to solve. Students feel that the answer should come to them immediately and if it does not then they can not solve it. WRONG, if it comes to you immediately then the chances are you are thinking of it wrong. You MUST take the time to analyse the spread sheets and understand the questions.
@@paphitisn Analyse in what ways, sir? Sometimes different formulas can give the same answer and there are also times when the answer cannot be guessed because the external files are too long. These are usually the areas I tend to go wrong. Thank you for such an useful video tho. Will help so many of us tomorrow
@@kulsumnaz5355 when i say analyse i mean look at the column titles to understand what the data in each column is. This will help you understand or try to guess what you will be asked to do. For example if one column is Quantity, the other is Price and then there is another called total you can assume you i will be multiplying the quantity by the price. If in one workbook you have a product code and in the other workbook you have product code and description and other info you can assume you will be doing a lookup. Take your time to familiarize yourself with the workbooks and their content.
@@kulsumnaz5355 NO don't worry. I don't know why your teacher said this. Students are encouraged to write on the paper. This will not impact you. The question papers are not sent to the examiners, only your printouts.

I have a specimen paper 2 i need to finish so i hope that will help. The 2018 paper contains topics not included in the syllabus which is why i avoid them, so as to prevent confusion. If you have a questuin on a paper i am happy to help.
Hello, it appears that if I open any of csv files (those in question 8) on my pc the data in them is arranged very strangely, with commas all over and different column data being in only first column. After I save them in xlsx format they still remain the same, I have tried your files in the description as well as other past papers. Thanks
I am sorry to hear that. What is important is what you learnt, that is what education is about not results. Your grades will probably be based on predictive grades so i hope you had good predicted grades based on your performance.
Sir do you have any videos explaining the - tags - hyperlinks from text to bookmarks in webpage -wildcards I'd like to refer to these as your explanations are superb and incredibly clear. Its a reflection of how much thought and effort is put into these videos
Glad the videos are useful for you. The interface of CS6 is not that different so you should be able to relate what i demonstrate in the videos easily to CS6
whatever you prefer. If you can do it using code then do that to practice but in the exam use the design view as it will put the code for you so less chance of you making a mistake.
You can do whatever you like as long as the result is what it should be and that their is evidence for everything they have asked you to do. If you are comfortable in writing the css code that is absolutely fine. you can simply open the css in notepad and modify it there.
You mean not put a function in the cells? No. The whole idea is for your function to determine if it should return a result or leave it blank. If you are blanking them manually then you are defeating the point. What if you have to go through 50000 records?
You have found the best resource to support you with your learning and revision for the exam. Makes sue to download the question papers and files from the description of the video tutorials so that you can practice.
Please do October November 2020 Paper 3 if you get the time its a very different paper especially the excel and CIEs are just around the corner I personally have them on April 3rd and 4th so it would be really helpful.
I noticed a mistake in your stylesheet where you pasted h2 property for h3 to edit but you did not edit the h2 to h3 so im pretty sure that made an error in the webpage since h2 was 24points and h3 was 18points font size at 20:57
